Bama/UF/LSU/UT have all had recent attendance problems
Bama's only attendance problem has been with the greeks and some of the overall student body when we play directional (or equivalent) schools, and even then most of them show up, it's just late and they leave early. If the university would make good on their threat to take some of the student tickets and give them to Tide Pride, then we wouldn't have an attendance problem at all.

I have no ill will toward PSU.

Lol@ LSU not in top 10. List is a joke.

They should take away the upper level student seating and designate those tickets for sale to the general public, not just Tide Pride. They should add one more section to the lower student seating. Also, it should be first come first serve student seating. Block seating is a disaster.

Its your students at all games, not just the lesser schools. Your most filled student section has been over 4k short in the biggest games

It's true. I think it really says more about the culture at UA as a whole than anything

Indiana??
They clearly belong on the list. This isn't even debatable.
I'm going to venture a guess that you've never been outside of Livingston Parish.

And our biggest problem with fans showing up late, at least when I was in undergrad, was the students, specifically the Greek sections. I'll stand by saying fans are pretty much the same. Some schools just have more followers based on size of the school, exposure, geographic location, tradition, etc. When teams are winning there are tickets sold, asses in the seats, and apparel flies off the racks. When teams suck it's largely the opposite. When teams win over a long period of time it gets stale and there is generally less interest. I've never met a single fan base where I thought "wow, these guys are really unique and the best fans in the country." I don't even now how somebody could sit down and attempt to make one of these lists.

Penn State should be number 1 or 2 as them and Nebraska have the most loyal fans in college football

Not saying I disagree but how does one measure loyalty amongst a fanbase? Coming to games when the team sucks? If that's it then SCAR has the best fans hands down.

Two years ago they couldn't pack Doak Campbell out if they were giving away free beer. It had been that way since they canned Bobby.

Well Nebraska has sold out every game for like 60 years and PSU fans still are in denial about Sandusky so I'd say they are both up there as the most loyal.

They finally sold out their season tickets for the first time in over a decade.

Exactly. It's embarrassing when our stands weren't completely full 5 minutes before the USC game this past year. They only time I think they were full by kickoff was the LSU game this year. The most embarrassing part is that it is the students that don't show up. I understand enjoying the pre game festivities, but showing up 10 minutes early isn't that hard. The one thing I will say about our fans is that we travel well. Our traveling fans are up there with the best, and those games I've gone to have been some of the most fun just because everybody that travels to the games actually cares about the team. I've heard our players say that they don't like our home fans, but love our traveling fans. Can't say I disagree with them.

Indiana in over Kentucky as a basketball fanbase is beyond laughable.

List is pure crap.
A&M has 31,000 students standing throughout the game, no matter who we play. They stay in the stands at halftime to cheer the band.
A&M former students set a public university record in 2013 by donating $740 million.
