Well. Are we listing returning starters or not? It's an important stat. Probably not the most. But important all the more.

Yup. And those are Auburns. That could probably the best interior line in the country, but we're swinging Golson out to OT

We really needed one of Young or Coleman to come back. I don't like the thought of two new tackles.

IDK if auburn will have a top 10 OL nationally, but all five starters are JRs or SRs... that's pretty rare, at least for auburn anyway (2010 being the last time)

Golson should be fine at LT... he played some RT at ole miss as a frosh, I believe.... he's a returning starter, just not a LT.

I'm all for getting the best five out there... puts a lot of pressure on dampeer at center.

I'd put Piersbacher, Cotton, and Taylor up against most. Good interior. Worried about RT. True freshman most likely.

There is no way in hell im believing app state has a top 3 Oline in college football.

One of the most effective against the competition they face? Possibly

There is not a single player on that Oline had an offer from the likes of USC, LSU, AU, FSU, or unlisted Bama.
Maybe there is a player or 2 that will make the league from app state Oline, maybe... but more will make the league from the above mentioned.

So a less sought after Oline coach, coaching less sought after players, against much weaker competition are a better unit than all these and many more top power 5 programs? Not possible IMO. They could have a sleeper who is a better player than these power 5 teams start, but at 5 positions across the Oline? LOL!

Two best OL in the SEC
Two of the top 10 in the country

Combined rushing against Alabama:
63 rushes for 145 yards - 2.3 ypc
Sacked - AU 3 times, LSU 2 times

Pretty sure at least a couple of teams did better than THAT against Alabama's DL

AU and LSU also posed virtually no passing threat last year. There's only 5 guys on the OL, so when the best run defense in the country puts 8 guys in the box there's only so much the OL can reasonably do.

It's amazing how you guys don't get that PFF spends countless hours analyzing film and uses actual, incredibly in-depth, statistics and data. They aren't basing this off recruiting stars and names on jerseys like you morons.

Pro Football Focus is one of the most respected names in sports analysis and you're just another couch QB. You don't know more than them despite whatever out of context stats you pulled off sports-reference.com

Auburn is a QB away from having a legit team this year. We are so poor/questionable at that position though it will affect the outcome every P5 team we play this year.
