Because they return most of the starters who won the Joe Moore Award last year

This list is utterly retarded, Im not saying its necessary to rank Bama as No 1, but this is literally the first list ranking top O-lines that I have not seen Bama in the top 10, like Im really supposed to believe Appalachian State has a better O-line than Bama. GTFO

Auburn is a QB away from having a legit team this year

As poor as the QB play was last, WR lost us more games. Of our 6 losses, LSU and Bama are the only ones that weren't easily winnable with less dropped passes. We were an arse hair away from winning 10 games.

I'm excited to see what Sean White can do with all the butterfingers gone and the coaching staff prepared to give him proper play calling.

No, you're not. He clearly says "these are the offensive lines I believe will be the most dominant." As in against their competition.

But I don't expect a Bama fan to have any type of reading comprehension, so I won't hold it against you.

And this is also likely the first list you've seen based off real data and statistical efficiency. Sorry your OL isn't efficient enough to be on the list.

gotta agree with you. LSU's O-Line is very good at run blocking and deserves to be one of the top run blocking lines in the country. they are just ok in pass blocking.

and their are some stout lines that are not on that list, including bama and you pigs.

that being said, virtually EVERY pre-season list is utter and complete shite.

So, according to bama fans the amount of returning starters actually are important sometimes.

INTERESTING!!!

Your OL didn't "get" 270 yards rushing. Derrick Henry did. Unless you're trying to tell me Henry wasn't actually that good and your OL is the reason he won then Heisman.

For the 100th time, rushing yards don't tell the whole story. PFF goes way more in depth with it than that.

But I'm not surprised you don't understand that.

Not that it matters but, you might want to reread your post and edit accordingly.

Exactly how many rushing yards did the bama "OL" give up last year?

How many starters does the tide return from that dominating front seven of '15?

Lol obviously your reading comprehension is somewhat lacking because nowhere at all did I even pose that argument about Henry and the OL but you're an auburn fan and yall are just naturally dumb so I will bare with you. Also, you're right rushing yards don't just tell the whole story, your 5 star d linemen getting juked out their shoes and your savior QB getting his shite caved in filled in the rest of the story of why yall got yall arse kicked.

Has PFF done this for other positional groups yet?

3. Appalachian State (sp)

Yes, I read the article. Yes it still makes the author look like an idiot. Yeah, they played Clemson (and got beat 41-10). The rest of their schedule was a D2 feast.

I agree with you. If you combined all Olineman from bama and app state into one depth chart how many app state players would even make the 2 deep?

Was every single app state player a miss for every power 5 program with a pulse on the recruiting trail? Very unlikely

Like I said earlier, they could easily have a player or two that was a sleeper and could start at top power 5 programs, but the odds of having that talent at all 5 positions across the Oline is almost zero.
And if their Oline coach could make the talent they sign produce better play than all the other teams mentioned his salary would have been quadrupled this offseason and he'd be coaching somewhere other than app state this season.

Just looking at their front page for CFB they have stuff like Top 10 running QBs, Top 5 most versatile players, Top 10 returning units.

I don't spend a lot of time on their site. I saw the OL list linked in another article about Braden Smith that talked about him being the highest rated pass blocking OG in the SEC.

THIS! How soon we forget 2014. Bama's OL was not the same dominant force it usually is. If people pay attention to football outside of the SEC they'll realize that this is a nice looking list.

Sorry dude but I find it hard to believe that any list excluding Bama will be seen objectively by an Auburn and LSU fan, especially when the list is based on something that is a known strength of Bama.

PFF is really good at grading NFL players because the talent level is so even, & there are only 32 teams. They have also improved over time. They are newer to college football and their methodology still has a long way to go. The talent level & schemes are much more varied in college and their data is still flawed, but getting better.

I like the middle of Auburn's offensive line, but the tackles are question marks right now, IMO. Braden Smith and Alex Kozan are some of the best in the country and SEC, though.

That's only because Auburn doesn't have anyone that can throw a pass. Not hard to be good at something you never do.
