Congrats on picking the one even Bama fans know is fake. For all others, trophies were awarded to us. (I still think we should drop the '41 claim and just go back to the 14 that we have trophies and primary sources to prove our national champion status)

Those would be the six poll titles awarded by AP, Coach's and UPI. Several other schools went back and counted national championships from before the poll era (including UT, Michigan, and most recently Texas A&M), so I see no reason to dismiss those titles as "fake."
ETA: Sorry to see the trees go. It was a great tradition that will hopefully continue on for generations to come.
