I don't want to sound insensitive about this tragedy for AU. But, it looks like there are a few trees in the background, behind the location that the oaks were located. Can't y'all just roll those temporarily until replacements are strong enough to withstand the rolling?

We will continue to celebrate at Toomers, we will continue to roll trees, wires, etc. For big victories it can go a block or so... Still the 100 year old oaks were the focal point, the entrance to campus. The tradition will continue.

by comparison...the wood amount wasted on those trees is nowhere near the waste of toilet paper!
