Last week at Saban's post signing PC, he discussed how he comforted the Evan's Family over potential reprercussions from their son not signing with AU. Two days later the local press writes first article about threats against Evans and less than a week a piece is written on tweeter threats to the Evans. Most of the Articles were written by the former UA School Paper Sport Editor.
The only thing I've heard from Saban since the end of the season was when he disagreed with AJ over our 5* player issue.

That is part of my point, why would a few twitter post or message board post be newsworthy? And if they were so numerous, Im sure they could have gotten a real quote from a fan. Hatchet job for a purpose.

Normally? Not newsworthy, when a fanbase shows just how classless they can be as a collective unit, it becomes newsworthy.

Why is this such a big deal to Auburn fans causing them to be so classless over the situation?
Is it because Evans told your staff he was signing with Auburn leading them to put up a profile on their website then on NSD chose another team?

Hoke does not write for the mainstream press.
My point is that the seed was planted for a reason by Saban, the journalist either did a poor job of reporting or they did what they were suppose to do. We will find out when and if more articles appear.

Evans issue was over the day after signing day for most AU fans. It is the fact that a week after it was over, these articles are appearing in the Alabama mainstream press everyday.
