Too Much Information

For a person who is very calculated with every bit of info he releases to the press, I found Saban’s willingness during his Press Conference, to discuss the private conversation with the Evan’s Family very curious. Did he even mention the repercussions of any of the Louisiana recruits or how he tried to reassure their families? His relationship with the press usually begins and ends with the on the field evaluation of potential recruits during these PCs. Yet within days of signing we hear from Alan Evans on the issues discussed by Saban and we read numerous articles by the University of Alabama connected press, quoting anonymous tweeter accounts. My guess is you will see a series of these articles in the near future and a rehash of events next fall. Just way too much information from a coach who has a reputation of keeping personal conversations close to the vest.
