Are you kidding? Bama just lost how many first rounders on D? Plus their entire offense (Richardson, Maze, Hanks)?

but losing brockers

Anthony "The Freak" Johnson says hello.

Cooper

Who? Do you mean Ryan Baker? He was good, but we've got linebackers waiting in the wings.

Taylor

Was not that special. Loston, Vinson, Eugene.

Claiborne

Claiborne's replacement will be Simon, who is arguably more athletic. The challenge will be finding the third corner so we can let Mathieu play nickel.

Tony Barnhardt Says LSU Will Be Better This Year I doubt it... LSU will realize they are nowhere near as deep in talent as Bama... And they lost more irreplaceable talent than Bama.. not sure about their D.. Should be strong up front but losing brockers, Cooper, Taylor, Claiborne will be harder to replace than what Bama lost on D.. Even though Bama lost better players

Not sure if serious ...

No kidding. On Nov. 5th we held Bama's entire team to under 100 yards rushing, we had 2 sacks, and 6 tackles for loss. On Jan. 9th it was 150 rushing yards, and that was considered good.

It wasn't like Bama was running all over us.

Richardson was NOT shut down. Look at total yardage he got a ton vs you in the first game. 189 Total is hardly "shut down"

basically all on uncovered swing passes. yeah he was dominant.

Probably, but I'm not sold on him. He got burned a few times in the spring game, although he had one very nice pass breakup in the endzone.

They don't. Or, they are the kind of fans who only look at Alabama and think that all of Bama's true freshmen are better than anyone LSU has on their roster because of Rivals stars.

LSU is going to be much better. If LSU had even an average quarterback last year, they win both games by 2 TDs. Mett will be better than average. LSU will be much better overall.

correct.I don't understand how people are discounting the improvement at the most important position in all of sports.

I don't know man, that may have been the best D ever. Lee didn't have much time to throw. Instead of composing himself he got that 'deer in the headlight' look which got him yanked. The bowl game score different...probably....win by 2 TD's...that's a little much I think. Not going 3 and out continuously would have helped the D though, definitely. Well, 2012 then. If CLM doesn't give Stud the green light to throw downfield I'm definitely going to scream.

You clowns might score a touchdown on us this year.

I'm keeping track of TDs scored last season against each other.

Bama - 1
LSU - 0

So Bama scored exactly one more TD than LSU did in the two games.

Now, carry on.

Games are won up front and we will be very very good on both sides of the ball. We now have a known commodity at quarterback and our offense should be much more diversified.

Of course we had some big losses on defense. That may have been one of the best defenses collectively in college football. But the cupboard is far from bare.

Solid starters at LB and who I think will be the best NT in college football Jesse Williams will anchor a veteran front.

3 year starter at FS and a shut down corner in Milliner.

The sad thing about this is there is a possibility that we have close to the same situation we did last year as far as records will be concerned and the loser this time probably gets shut out of the BCS game.

If conventional wisdom holds true (big if, it usually doesn't) every effort will be made to get #3 team in (even if they lose to Montana Poytech U.) What will be interesting is if Oregon/USC replicate Bama/LSU scenario from 2011.

I would assume, which we know what assuming does, that there is no way in hell they'd ever allow another rematch. Any school north of the mason dixon was butthurt as hell.

Alabama will repeat with back to back Nattys at the Capstone. Double knuckle rings coming to Tusk a palloosa baby! Saban and Alabama will be the first ever to win three Nattys in a row and this year is number two on the installment of three.

Honey mustard 7 will get owned by our receivers in Br this year, it will be ugly, like the clubbing of a baby seal!!
