You inability to read the English language and understand it.

Do you have any idea how many teams tried to lure Peterson from Boise State? Patterson from TCU? Over the years.

And they have never given it to the program, and never will.

Houston and FSU will match anyone that comes courting.

Again true of most major universities, why give money for the hot name when you can instead have your name on the hot new building on campus...

If LSU is so attractive and has all these perks, then why is Jimbo, er im sorry Jimbeaux not coaching there right now??

Because a majority of our voters are morons who elected a democrat governor who was hell-bent on raising taxes. Shelling out for a new HC wasn't politically expedient for him at that point in time, so he colluded with the university president to sabotage the deal.

The good news is, he's almost certainly a one-term governor and is already unpopular enough to not have the political leverage to pull this shite again.

How many went after him after last season?

He will never have to get on a plane for a recruiting trip to keep Houston at a high enough level for Houston unless he wants to, the majority of his recruiting visits can be done round trip on less than a 1/4 of gas...

But they are just Houston.

Several SEC teams pursued Peterson over the years, always the same answer "NO".

And Boise wasn't matching the cash offers from the SEC schools...

Dale, I hate to break it to you but you're the one babbling incoherently about random topics. I'm not sure you're in any position to lecture anyone else about reading comprehension.
