I see you like comic books

Stick to that, and leave football talk to the adults

You suck at straw-man arguments. He means Johnny Manziel broke Archie Manning's SEC records, and will own them all before he's finished.

You couldn't just banter about the issue rather than trying to go full personal Rantard?

What is there to banter?

JFF has broken Archie's records--twice--against far more athletic competition.

And I love watching old Archie tapes. But if you say Archie is better than JFF, you've got your head in the sand.

Sorry bro.

He also had a far, far better supporting cast. Archie had some truly terrible teams around him. I assume you're not going to argue that TAMU is terrible outside of Manziel.

It's all academic, anyway. We can argue until we're blue in the face -- or fingers, anyway -- but there are just too many variables when comparing teams and players of different eras.

Well, THAT particular argument goes back and forth every day on the Rant, it seems

Lot of folks seem to say as soon as JFF leaves, A&M will be terrible.

The athletes of today>>>>the athletes of Archie's day, though. That is my primary argument. I get where you're coming from, though.

Now can we please dispense with the rationality and get back to shite talking?

No variables, just stats. Manziel owns Archie's stats. This is incontrovertible.

I admit I was baiting a little to see if an A&M fan would be so intent on pumping Manziel that he'd be willing to denigrate the rest of the team in the face of the on-going trolling about how good TAMU actually is outside of Manziel. Didn't work, but I had to try.

But, yeah, thanks to many factors, athletes today are better, in general, than athletes of yesteryear. That's why we try to compare them in their contemporary contexts rather than head-to-head.

Also noticed that Ole Miss fans flat out couldn't handle blaring rap music from our tailgate last year. Multiple "turn it downs", as well as a few other more direct comments that I won't even post for fear of embarrassing our SEC brethren

I've seen lesser attempts work, so no worries

I'd recommend that they get ranked above Mizzou. It's unseemly.

OK, I cannot blame them on this one.

For the love of Rudder, did you not have any Aggie music available? Lyle L or REK?

Nothing wrong with rap.

Hell, there's a guy right now ("Puntin'") who puts out some good Aggie beats regularly.

And this is coming from someone who likes country as well.
