Tennessee will have to average a 10-3 record the next decade to move into the 70% category.
That would be on par with our best three decades in program history (30's,50's,90's).
So if Butch turns out to be our next great coach it can happen. But it will take a great run.
The others really have very little shot of ever getting to 70% because it takes a lot of games to change the percentages much at this point.

Alabama, Tennessee, LSU, Auburn, Florida & even newcomer Texas A&M are the only SEC teams to win multiple national championships recognized by the NCAA.

Except 13 of their claims are listed on the NCAA site.

Georgia has the greater potential due to in-state recruiting. But we have had that potential advantage forever and it really hasn't made a difference so far due to competitive recruiting in our state.

Michigan, Texas, Nebraska, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Alabama, and USCw are the Bluebloods.
CraigBiggio said it best:
There are probably some midwestern bluebloods who need to have their status revoked, or at least be placed under some type of probationary watch.
We can start with the teams in bold to be placed on probation. None are exactly holding up the title of Blueblood very well right now.

This is dumb for many reasons, but Tennessee has been an SEC blue blood for years. But they're facing the same problem as Nebraska. Their instate talent pool is weak, and they need strong ooc recruiting to be competitive. What decent talent Tennessee produces, is on the wrong side of the state. It's tough to lock a city down, when you're 6+ hours away.

Meh, they've got one more conference title and two less MNCs than LSU, and a 68 win% to LSU's 65.
They may have more national recognition, but their on the field accomplishments are not significantly better than LSU's.
Quit trying to over-sell your patsy, Bama.

Tennessee doesn't have the same problem Nebraska does. Go look at how many top recruits came out of each state last year. Tennessee also has the luxury of being close to other recruiting hotbeds, Nebraska does not. And lucky for Tennessee, due to population explosion in Middle TN, Memphis is no longer where most talent comes from, the middle TN area is.

Don't bother trying and arguing with him, he has a hate-boner for UT

What I said:
What you provided (UT vs LSU):
All-time record: .680 vs 649
National championships (corrected for NCAA): 2 vs 4
Conference championships (corrected for '84): 16 vs 15
Bowl Games: 50 vs 47
Wins: 811(9th) vs 761(12th)
Bowl Record: 26-24-0 vs 23-22-1
All-Americans: 38 vs 30
Heismans: 0 vs 1
Draft picks: 337 vs 311
1st rd picks: 44 vs 37
Weeks in AP poll: 565 vs 560
Weeks at AP #1: 19 vs 30
Those numbers just aren't THAT far off, kind of proves my point. Sorry Tennessee.

Not really, I just don't buy the hype. I'm sorry for your persecution complex. Perhaps you should seek help.

1984: 21-21 at Gainesville and SEC Sugar Bowl reps.
I'll take it.

NCAA doesn't award Championships in football, so I don't give a flying frick what that says.
UT has 4 legitimate recognized National Championships. Could claim more, but won't.
Better in almost every category. FWIW, I consider LSU a Blueblood as well.
Also, LSU did not win the SEC in 84. Your own website doesn't claim it. LINK
