I am not convinced that Kenyan Drake isnt the RB for thos class for Bama. Others may disagree, but I've seen nothing from him that says he cant be an SEC RB. My guy in football ops says staff feels he can be and, though they want another RB, they are fine w/ Drake in that role.

I've always thought Drake could be a RB. No reason for me to believe otherwise besides people saying he will play WR. He looks good at RB and isn't exactly small

I've been satisfied with Taylor and Drake since they committed.

Drake has that whole Glen Coffee build to him, although that didn't hurt Coffee in college. His uptight running style did the damage...

He wants to be the far and away "Star" on the team, not just a piece of the puzzle.

With Ray Graham likely leaving and Pitt running the same system Malzahn does, he can be just that...

I'm sure some (probably most) people will disagree with me here, but I don't think anyone besides the QB can ever be that kind of player in spread offenses.

Yeah, he is really disappointed by the lack of attention, and playing time. so I won't disagree.

Won't sign with Bama. Just like Bamasgot13 said he is listening, but that is all. Tj's father doesn't like Saban and LOVES coach Chizik.

We shall see. I hear he is much more than just listening now.

Bama isn't negative recruiting, but they're pointing out the loaded depth chart at aubie next year. You guys are going to be packed with top talent next year like Dyer,Mccalleb,Mason,Blakely,
Grant, etc. Also, Trent may go pro after this year.

Stuff to think about.

McCalleb will more than likely declare after this year. Yeldon is being recruited as his future replacement in the spread offense.

I don't think OMac declares. Not to bash him, but I do not know if he has an NFL future period (though I hope he does as I know her needs it).

And like someone else said, I am not worried about Yeldon. He is solid to AU. I remember reading some of his quotes last December or maybe January after saban visited him and he was not impressed and didn't think much of saban or bama. He practically said he was all AU and bama was out of it way back then well before he committed. I see nothing to indicate anything has changed at all.

We have differnet opinions on negative recruiting. Saying "They're going on probation",etc. is negative recruiting to me. The truth is never negative. JMO

So Auburn should point out to recruits that Alabama is on probation?

Bama fans were up in here bitching about "negetive recruiting" when some other teams were pointing out the depth chart at bama to players, yet when bama does it, it's not

Ironic that saban was whining about this last year, saying things like we don't have a depth chart, other teams recruiters know our roster better than me - wah, wah, wah....

Well, I wasn't here and I promise you I wouldn't agree with them. Recruiting is very heated, but I don't think of the depth chart angle as negative myself.
