I'd vote no. Saban is hated by a lot of LSU fans. Including me.

LSU fans are lying if they say anything different.

You laughed at the notion that Saban is the best coach LSU has ever had.

1. He tries to ruin LSUs season every year (that alone should keep out of the HOF)

In that case, spurrier should no longer be up for floridas HOF.

There may be no more vilified individual by LSU fans than Saban

Assuming the above is true, then this really doesn't compute in my pea brain:

quote:

the coach who helped build LSU into a national elite program and guided LSU in 2003 to its first national championship in 45 years.

I don't hate Saban. Thankful for what he did while he was here. Hating Saban would make as much sense as hating Mark Emmert. You know, the guy who hired Saban and then jetted out of here because like Saban his services were in high demand.

As to the LSU Hall of Fame, I don't give a crap. Just don't build him a statue. Because we don't do that.

The fact that he has one at bama after only 5 years, while he is still coaching there, is creepy and psychotic

Yup.

Our best coach ever got blasted 31-0 by Bama. That was the day I knew he was our best coach ever.

Maybe that will happen to Miles this weekend.

Maybe.

But as of right now, Miles has the best all time winning percentage by any coach at LSU. Better than Saban.

Perhaps if Saban had stayed another 3 years or more we could have the conversation about who was really better at LSU.

Impossible to prove. But as of this moment, Miles has the best record of any LSU coach.

You honestly think Miles is a better Coach than Saban?

Miles is the best coach we ever had. Saban was not here long enough to have that distinction.

Your current coach got blasted 21-0 by Bama with much more on the line.

Unlikely. It should be a close game.

You have to admit the foundation for success was better when Miles got there than it was when Saban got there. Miles won the games, but the program was in better shape when he arrived than when Saban arrived at LSU (just as the next coach at Bama will inherit a better program than Saban did).

Exactly Saban took your program when you guys were bad and turned you into a top program. Miles has teetered between the hotseat and not since he has been there. His mad hatter bullshite blows up in his face a lot more than you guys will ever admit though.

Banned for asking a question? If they honestly think Miles is better what do they have to back that up?
