Same here, my strong dislike for Bama started well before Saban. It's not the coaches, it's not the team. It's the fans. Not all, but like 90% of them annoy the hell out of me. Whereas say only 20% of other fan bases annoy the hell out of me.

I guess it depends on age. I'm 32 and my dislike has always been for Auburn and Florida. Not really Alabama so much.

I think Saban is a great coach. I am thankful that he came to LSU. Without him, we'd still be happy to go to the Independence Bowl. I respect Bama, but I'll always hate them. Trying to figure out who I hate more. Bama, Florida or Ole Miss.

I dislike Bama because I grew up in Alabama. Basically there is an entire generation of Bama fans my age who grew up in the dark days of Bama football and don't know how to handle the success they are experiencing.
That and it literally is the most important thing in their life. Which is scary. Every fan base has got em though.

Always reserve my hatred for Ole Miss. I dont hate bama, I hate losing to bama. Much so even made worse that Saban went to Bama. None of that BS traitor stuff - I was fearful he would do what he is doing and continues to do.
Keep in mind - the 90's hate was reserved for Auburn. And of course the hate of getting nut kicked by everyone.

I have hated alabama since I was a kid in the late 1960s. My feelings have nothing to do with Nick Saban for whom I have great respect.
