Just not sold on whether Dooley has it in him to ultimately win championships at a high level. Even without the refs, his management in crucial situations tonight was very shitty for someone who is coaching a program the caliber of Tennessee.

Bray should be flagged for gayness in his celebration however.

Me too, he reminds me of Pelphrey.

Tennessee fans need to give him time, let him bring in his guys for his system, let him install his discipline within the team, and just be patient.

Yes, it may take him a little longer than you like, but that is part of the deal when you get a coach at such a bargain price, you have to wait while they learn and figure it out on the job. It is possible that he makes a mistake and the team regresses, but rest assured he will learn from his mistakes and move forward.

Just remember the last time you fired a coach, no one wanted the job and the one who finally did used you as a stepping stone. Yes it sucks to realize the program has fallen so far from where you think it should be, but it is what it is.

he should have tried to make a 1st down. got way too conservative there at the end of regulation.

one 1st down and tenn wins the game and nc does not get the ball back.

Yall got screwed.. I feel sorry for UT yall got both ends of it this yr.. Penalized on the last play and lost.. then had the other team penalized on the "last play" and lose.

My thoughts: Time did not permit for them to line up into a legal formation (after the confusion), therefore they should not be allowed to snap the ball with that many men on the field, meaning time should expire (in this situation).. Teams get penalized for breaking the huddle with too many men, but yet we're gonna give them the easy way out by takin a 5 yd penalty for a couple of seconds? NCAA needs to take a look at the rules pertaining.

Well yeah.. that is mute to the point I am trying to make.. Ur right tho.. Make the xp and there is no argument, but if the xp is made then there is different play calling on UNC's part and the whole game is changed. My argument is with the rules. I just think they should take a closer look at them.

If ur talkin about the throat slash.. I agree.. Its been banned for years.. The salute deal seemed like a team thing so I think that should be ok.. but I couldnt believe my eyes when he did that throat slash.

Dooley got the job because we had to hire at a bad time. Kiffin got the job because he was one of the first choices. He was immediately after Butch Davis.

If it was such a great job, there never would be a bad time to accept it...

Face it, you are a women's basketball school.

I love how we're getting crap about hiring from the Kiffin from a team who tried to get Kiffin a year before Tennessee did.

It was a bad time to accept the job because it would obviously be one that would take a few years to get things on the right track. No proven coach was going to take the job because they would basically be pulling a Kiffin.

You mean the same Kiffin who called begging for a chance to interview for the job and was turned down?
