Thoughts on the Tennessee/UNC game

1. Tough loss to a better team
2. Announcers were irritating as hell in regards to asking about the unsportsmanlike penalties every few minutes. Just because some idiot screwed up the previous game doesn't mean UT should have gotten a penalty every time.
3. That being said, Bray went a bit too far the last time.
4. Simply got killed on the line. If they didn't lose the two good defensive linemen to suspension, Bray would have died on the field today (although UNC probably would have been in a better bowl game).
5. Raijon Neal showed at least a little bit of a reason to smile about the running game. As far as the offense is concerned, running back seems to be the only real question for me going forward. If we have the ability to run the ball, no reason we shouldn't have a great offense in the near future.
6. I saw a lot to be excited about with Bray. Took a bit to adjust to the first decent defense he started against, but he did turn things around pretty well. Impressive drive to take the lead at the end of regulation and that was a great pass in OT for the touchdown.
7. Defense needs to get better. Our depth will improve, but I'm still not really that excited about it going forward. Some good players, but not really that many. Recruiting needs to go well.
8. Dan Lincoln sucks
9. It's simply unreal that we lost like that again, but I think the better team won. No need for wrist-slitting in regards to blowing big games. It has only happened twice, and I'm not sure there's any reason to think Dooley will always come up short.
10. I'll be able to laugh this one off tomorrow. Unless you care about the SEC's bowl record, this game doesn't really count for anything. I wish the seniors got to leave with a win, but for everyone else, this game really just wasn't a big deal.

It was bullshite. If we lose to LSU for having too many men on the field, the should too.
There will hopefully be a ten second runoff put in CFB from this.
Now everybody knows they can spike the ball with 15 motherfricking people on the damn field.

Agree with all of it. The D should be improved next year IMO. Replace Walker with Ben Martin, Add Marlon Walls at DT, Return Jacques, Corey Miller, Malik Jackson, Montori Huges etc.
Replace Reveiz with Propst/A. Johnson. Replace Thompson with Greg King. Return Lathers, Vereen, Askew, Mitchell-Thornton, add AJ Johnson.
Return everything from the secondary 2-deep and add 3 4* Safetys and a 4* CB.

RB, MLB, and TE are our biggest concerns next year. RB is the only position I'm nervous about long-term.

No shittier than last season and rapid improvement as the season progressed and a hell of a lot of promise considering our lack of depth and youth.
