This ought to tell anyone guided by logic and reason, that, while perhaps Cam should have been ineligible for what Cecil did, perhaps not, Auburn did not cheat to land him and did not cheat by playing him.

This is what happens when the FBI gets involved. They have investigative powers and resources leaps and bounds beyond the NCAA...they get the answers they want.

It's not possible to prove a negative, so those of you that want to hang onto it for as long as you both (you and your conspiracy theory) shall live, will continue to do so. For the rest of us, this shows just how inconceivably unlikely it would be for criminal mastermind Cecil Newton, to have not only anticipated the involvement of the FBI, but to have outsmarted them and successfully hidden the $200k transaction, as well as the money itself.

Good to have Cam and Auburn fully exhonerated (which of course, the NCAA had done long ago).

This might be the most retarded logic jump I've seen thus far in this whole debacle

You have no clue. All of the Big 6 buys players and it has always been this way. Period.

And YES, casino cash IS untraceable when you own the joint.

Why do you think Paul Bryant Jr. owned Greene Track in Greene Co.?

I'll hang up and listen...

Well, then it should be easy to knock a hole in my weak logic. Please, by all means.

Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

You said yourself you can't prove a negative, so I don't know why you're trying??

This thread is dumb as hell.

So, OJ in prison in Nevada for stealing his own autographed stuff means he didn't murder anyone in California.

Unless I'm forgetting something the FBI never got involved with the NCAA investigation of Cecil and Cam Newton. That knocks a huge hole in your weak logic.

You are deflecting. Had your morning melt yet?

I think this makes the Cam cheating theory even more likely than it already was. Which was pretty damn likely to begin with. It shows that Auburn is corrupt as hell. Which we already knew. But it's like just one more notch on your belt.

I'm sorry that the logic flew over your head. Let me try again. Generally speaking, law enforcement, let alone, the FBI, does not get involved in college athletics. It's very unusual. The last time they did, was to investigate the allegation that Auburn paid Cecil Newton $200k to play for Auburn. They found nada...in spite of the fact that there is NO way that Auburn or Cecil could have anticipated the FBI's involvement.

Now, 7 years later, the FBI decides to get involved in college athletics...and demonstrates what they are actually capable of.

To continue to believe that Cecil took $200k from Auburn requires you to believe that 1. He is a MENSA level criminal genius (which he clearly demonstrated that he was not in the MSU conversations) and 2. That he didn't need the $200k anyway because he sure as heck never spent it.
