Is it possible that they will consider who Miss St. played out of conference, (Southern Miss, UAB, S. Alabama, & UT-Martin); and who their SEC East opponents were, (Vanderbilt & UK)?

We're pleased as punch in Missouri.

We had to replace 2/3rds of our starters and control our own destiny with three weeks to go.

You didn't mention A&M. Most Aggies predicted 7-5 and maybe 8-4 during a rebuilding year and we have lost three games to three top ten teams with two games left. Got our hopes up for a few weeks after USC....but we all know now that was fools gold. Lots of freshmen looking solid....I wouldn't say Aggies are unhappy.

In fairness, Bama wouldn't be behind TCU, if they hadn't crapped the bed against OU in the post season and given the Big 12 credibility in one big gift. If Bama doesn't wind up in the playoff this year and plays TCU or Baylor in a major bowl......please take care of business. Post season results will impact committee votes in the following year when considering conference wins.

Good point but TCU out of conference isn't much to look at either. Still a lot of football to played and teams can play their way ahead of TCU. Ohio State could even do it.

Dude, a 1 loss Moo State is the LEAST viable playoff team

They had Vandy & KY from the East and their OOC slate was pathetic

if they lose a game, they have zero business in a playoff and shoud never jump a team like TCU who had nine conference games plus a decent OOC schedule

A 1 loss MS State should even be behind a 2 loss B1G or Pac champ

The SEC only deserves one team this year. MSU will lose to both Bama and Ole Miss and has had a very easy SEC schedule. When Auburn beats Bama, every SEC team will have 2 loses.

wrong - they beat a decent MN team out of the B1G - their 3 game schedule OOC is way better than MS State's 4 games

Ok
So TCU quality wins of Minnesote, Kstate, West Virginia and Oklahoma would trump Lsu, Texas am, auburn and ole miss.

Gotcha

ehhhh not really. Look at all of our preseason predictions this summer, most people predicted 10-2 which is still very much in play. We are still in the thick of the east race as well.
