Lol are you seriously trying to downplay the fact that the Hogs are on the way to the top while Auburn returns to the bottom?

That isnt exactly fair to compare a place in championship tournament to a corporate sponsorship bowl where the requirement is that you win half your games. The only bowls worthy of kudos to anyone are the big 6.

So Nick Marshall didn't play in Auburn's recent bowl loss? Of course they don't matter when you can't win them. I'm sure the NCAA Men's Basketball tournament is a worthless exhibition in Auburn fan's eyes as well.

Of course Marshall played. Johnson and White also got significant reps in practice that week along with a lot of younger players. You still play to win and Auburn lost for the same reason they lost the other games last season...the defense.
And your other statement is totally asinine, but as an Auburn fan it's been a while since I've seen my team in the tournament, so I've kind of forgotten.

There is no comparison between Bert and Gus. Gus has already done something no Arkansas coach has ever done , win the SEC championship.

There is one other thing I will give Gus credit for. If you look at all of the losses, with the possible exception of one game, Molzahn did his part, Ellis Johnson failed to do his so he was fired. Kudos as well to Gus for his replacement

Methinks you are unaware between the difference between fact and opinion.

I guess the last three SEC teams that aubarn faced last year weren't reeling or limping since they all beat you.

You gave up 55 freaking points to bama, a team that managed only 14 against us and that was before our defense peaked later in the year.

They were essentially the same team at the end of the year as the one that AU beat by 21 points to start the season

Too silly to even comment on, but keep telling yourself that if it helps you to sleep at night.

Very good! For the past five years Auburn's defense has sucked. Absolutely sucked. This is why Gus fired Johnson and replaced him with Muschamp. We'll see how it goes.

Yes dumb arse and Auburn's offense scored 44 points on Bam's defense. How the hell did you do?

Championship seasons are not the norm for auburn,so a7or 8 win year wouldn't be a surprise. The west is tough and so is Georgia.

LSU was limping too. Our o-line was in shambles for that game.

LSU was f-ed last year and there wasn't a thing they could do about it. It happens to everybody at one time or another, nature of the beast.

Normally, one should win something before talking trash.

I love Arkansas fans talk trash as though it was not settled on the field. Oh right, I forgot --- it was all the elevator's fault.

Arkansas has won two sec games in two years. Auburn had a a down year and still had more SEC wins than that last year.

You brag about beating a down LSU and a bipolar ole miss team. You seem to have forgotten after those two victories you lost to Missouri --- a team you showed no respect for and then humbled you on the field. Then you beat a terrible Texas team.

Again be proud you are probably on the upswing, but stop being such d-bags because you are hung up on Coach Malzahn.

No one has really bothered with thread's titled This is Arkansas' year to flop for the past three years because that would have been redundant.

If by winning 10-11 games is a flop, I agree.

It's pretty amazing how our team played up to that point without having a single player banged up........ha

Heck,Allen played against Mizzou with a torn up throwing shoulder so I guess that means that loss shouldn't count.....oh brother..

Like a bowl game?

They seem to be easy to win according to how Auburn fans are talking down on them.

Bowl games mean nothing to Gus. He would have won one if they did, right?

Bowl losses seem key to the Houston Nutt coaching tree.

You guys are a broken record after the fact. If you really want to read something funny --- take a look at this thread from 2013 LINK

I like how the past two years, Arkansas fans have been claiming what a rebuild they had to do --- yet the same posters on this thread had a very different view back then.

Auburn went 8-5 then 3-9, we went 11-2 and then 4-8. Plus we beat them easily the past two years. They have a much bigger rebuild than we do.

Posted this before, but we have a 4* at QB and RB, a 5* backup RB, two 4* on the OL plus an all-american C, and signed a top 3 TE. We are inexperienced yes but we aren't full of 2* players either.

I think we win head to head since it's at home but both teams could end up with similar records. I just don't buy that they will all of a sudden jump to 8 or 9 wins because of Gus, the players last year didn't win an SEC game...that's not all on coaching

Actually Arkansas has never gone winless in conference play or finished last in the division.

And so he will not feel left out Dale Denton

Well, when Bert gets us the series lead next year and starts extending the margin the following year, we will talk about that.

Props to cas4t for getting it right

Arkansas will finish last in the division

My point here is really simple, before your fans keep up the trash talk, maybe you should win something of value.
