Sometimes you just have to watch them walk off the cliff. Did not think this could get any better.

Guess you forgot how it went down. Doesn't matter.

Everyone will. 16 sucks. That's half the teams in the NFL all in the same league.

As an aside, why are you always so angry? The little lady not giving it up like she did before you got married?

Ok.
AU said AU would go east and keep bama as AUs cross division rival and UT could go west or Mizzou could be added in the west.
Bama spokesperson issued a statement saying bama opposed this, in part due to concerns (fear) it would help AUs recruiting.
Bama scert is AU is conclusion.

Want to blame someone, blame the money hungry school Presidents and administrators that made expansion happen. The SEC was FINE how it was. Nothing against A&M and Mizzou but 14 teams is too many teams if you only want 8 conference games. Maybe some other teams should have nutted up and voted for the 9 game schedule
Finally someone gets it

I think college football would much worse off without the Iron bowl or the Michigan/OSU game or the Texas / Oklahoma game or Army / Navy for that matter.
Just how would it be worse off without those games? Please explain. Texas and Texas A&M have been playing every year for decades. They stop playing all of a sudden and guess what: no one cares! It sucks that we don't have that game anymore but it doesn't effect our lives or the life of college football.

The drugs in Miami have gotten WAY out of hand.

What is incredibly disappointing is that we play UGA in 2018 and 2025. This is the game I look forward to the most, both with them coming to town and going to Athens. Just doesn't seem right I guess.

Yeah, but then we get pods which fixes most of the major issues with rivalries and teams getting to play one another.

Well it was in the news at the time of expansion, quite a bit, but please continue

Alabama, which resides in the SEC minority of wanting No. 14 from the East Coast, would support Missouri if it joined the SEC East, not the West, multiple sources said. According to the sources, Alabama has two objectives: Keep its annual cross-division rivalry game against Tennessee, and not watch Auburn move to the East and possibly grow its recruiting presence in talent-rich Florida and Georgia.

Missouri is expected to become the SEC’s 14th member at any moment. And with Missouri and Texas A&M arriving as Nos. 14 and 13, somebody from the current SEC West will have to move to the East for the sake of balance. Most folks expect the mover to be Auburn — although Alabama, being its selfish self, is making noises about preferring that its arch-enemy stay put

I still don't like it. 16 is way too damn many.
