It won't be long before MiZ zou becomes irrelevant. They won't be able to recruit well enough to compete. That being said, my program is good enough to lay a little smack down.

He was a questionable call and 3 inches away from going 7-5 (4-4) with an offense that lost all 3 WRs , TE, and QB to the NFL and a Defense littered with walk ons. If he can some how grab 7 wins next year I'll be ecstatic. Nobody's really expecting anything dramatic until 2015

Butch went 4-8 his first year at Cincinatti then turned around with a 10 win season and a Big East title in year two.
While I don't think the roster or schedule set TN up for that big of a turnaround, I do think you will see TN bowling again in 2014.
This will only be the second offseason since 2004 that both of our coordinators return...that is insane.
I think you will actually see some talent develop at Tennessee within a consistent system which just hasn't happened for us in a LONG time.
So 6/7 wins in 2014 for TN and then 8 or 9 in 2015.
After that we should be consistently in the hunt for the East.
I will admit that I don't forsee us ever getting back to the late 90's type dominance again.

With everyteam in the SEC recruting like juggernauts. I don't think any of us expect to have a run of dominance like that. It's nice just to be in the topic of conversation but it's not realistic to expect it. I just hope to be competitive every year.

I hope most of our fanbase understands that and remembers where we've been if in 4 or 5 years Butch can't get over the 8 or 9 win mark consistently.
I will gladly take getting back into the New Years day bowl game discussion consistently and popping into the SEC Title game every 5 years or so world of the SEC.
