When will new Chancellor and AD be in place? Will it be in time to make a coaching change before NSD?

Vol fans, who at UT makes the calls on hiring & firing? Here at LSU, in theory, it is the BOS, with the president having a say so; the A.D. does all the leg work to weed through all the B.S.and then makes a recommendation. But boosters do have some role, just nothing like exists at Texas.

Ultimately, Chancellor and the AD. But the boosters have a huge say, way more than they should.
Rumor is that Big Jim Haslam torpedoed a Gruden deal a few years back because Gruden wanted complete control of all the hirings and firings of football staff. I don't know if it's true or not, but a legit "sauce" has told me there's a lot of validity to this particular Grumor.

I hope Tenn gets a new coach soon.
Tenn has brought in talent under Butch, now it is time to get a coach who can start winning big to get momentum.
I hate seeing Tenn being down as long as it has, it takes something from the conference, imo.
