Sumlin was a good hire, for the same reason Gus was a good hire for Auburn. Saban is what we're chasing and he hates the spread/no-huddle offenses. Hates them, has lobbied against them.

I agree. You guys should have hired Briles. He's Petrino with an arse hole side.
I think I heard you hired a spread OC though?

76k as is. I believe the first expansion takes us over 82k by 2014 or so.

Winner winner, chicken dinner. Art Briles came through the ranks as a highly successful Texas high school coach. He can coach and recruit in Texas like nobody's business. For proof, look at what's he has been able to accomplish even at a dumpster fire-level program like Baylor.

The Brett Bielema hire, while attractive, is not the surefire winner that an Art Briles hire would've been. Who knows? Maybe you guys offered and he declined.

I didn't bother to read the thread or anything but 90% of the stuff listed happened during the 16 year break in the series.

Also seems weird to thump your chest over a 3-game win streak that was ended in a pretty spectacularly embarrassing fashion this year

I was underwhelmed by the hire initially but tBieladong appears to have hired a good staff. But I think they'll still run a pro-set offense.

Briles would have been a good hire IMO, with obvious concerns on the defensive side of the ball.

IIRC, the FOI didn't show Briles as having been contacted.

Pretty sure their stadium holds 75K

And they already have renovation plans to expand it more once their legit football operations building is done?

Kyle Field is a POS and needs a renovation, so about time y'all are doing one.

Series is tied since 1990. You can selective stat lipstick anything.
