I'm ok with Bert getting a few more years. Mike Anderson not so much and frick Jeff long

I'll never understand arky fans thinking

Mike Anderson is 5x the coach that Bert is. Plus Mike loves that state and would never leave. If Bert wins 8 games, he's hopping to the Iowa job ASAP. (If they will hire the loser)

Bielema has been coaching in the strongest division in college football the past few years.

Anderson has been coaching in a terrible basketball conference and has been here longer.

It's apples and oranges

I know he turned you down a few years ago but if y'all open the checkbook you've probably got a 50/50 shot at landing Leslie Miles.

It never ceases to amaze me how fearful Arkansas fans are of change. They're acting like they're in the midst of some sort of run of success and it would set them back even further if they were to fire this guy. I've been on Hogville and have actually read this reasoning. Newsflash Hog fans: He's accomplished absolutely nothing in the four years he's been there.

ok now... this is have to disagree with.

1. He got Jen prego....
2. He cleaned up the programs image following the petrino debacle...
3. The APR is finally not only up to snuff, but leads the SEC in GPA, etal...
4. Recruiting is as good, if not better than ever with regards to Petrino/Nutt
5. His pay has aided the economy in NW Arkansas...

5 very good things he has accomplished...

Bielema has done a good job at Arkansas IMO. They are at least competitive in a very tough West division. His problem is he needs to recruit better and that's a tough job at Arkansas.

There were numerous games that I wouldn't describe as "competitive" last season. Getting beat fifty six to motherfricking three is not a product of recruiting either. Arkansas recruits like a P5 school, not a MAC school (oh shite Bert lost to one of those with a team full of talented upperclassmen ).

It's shocking that so many hog fans on this site hate him now but a year ago he was one of the best coaches in the conference .

I still like him...but I do think this year he needs to show some improvement. Honeymoon is over...seat should be starting to warm up.

Looking to see:

1) 8-9 win season (not counting bowl)
2) No more 2nd half collapses
3) Beat A&M
4) Prove that the defensive problems were a...Rob Smith problem, not a Brett Bielema problem

As they should. He is getting close to their ceiling. No one is really taking them much higher.
