There's way more to this than what we know and I would almost bet its dealing with more players. Hugh Freeze-Memphis high school coach. Do some research and you will find some interesting tidbits.

Bo Scarbrough was suspended for 4 games for violations that occurred during his recruitment, violations that were not committed by Alabama. Guess who thought they were getting Bo late in the game.

i don't think the issue is with the rental car anymore it's the agents.
Bingo! If the NCAA can nail them on that, Ole Miss would have to forfeit all the games he played in after the contact.

Almost certainly not.

When's the last time the NCAA made a team actually forfeit a game?

They've fallen in love with this idiotic 'vacated' shait where they take the win away from one team but don't give a win to the other.

Bama calling another program a cheater

Why am I imagining an anthropomorphic version of our athletic department walking around, accusing other anthropomorphic athletic departments of being cheaters?

You are so not in the know. Bama calling another program a cheater. Chutzpah defined.

i don't even think you need to be "in the know" to rationalize that's it's highly unlikely there isn't much more to this than driving a car for a week. We're talking an ongoing 6 game suspension now. If it was as simple as that, he'd have played last weekend or sooner. And I really don't want to hear conspiracy theories about the NCAA sticking it to Ole Miss because they're not a more prestigious program.

If I'm Tunsil at this point, I wouldn't risk injury coming back, you will have 3 years out of high school and declare for draft.

The whole loaner car thing is a lot different than autographs or selling a jersey. It was a benefit with boosters involved. He's done.

Unless Walton spontaneously morphs into a legit SEC back (not possible) and Tunsil can play both ways and stop Fournette (because your front 7 certainly couldn't do it last year), I don't think we will lose any sleep.

The difference is a big university with lots of NCAA clout - see OSU or North Carolina, etc. versus Ole Miss or a Mizzou.

Anyone who thinks there's equity in how cases are handled by the NCAA is fooling themselves.

There is a hierarchy in the NCAA investigations process. It's like when the USDOJ lets the big fish go because of the relationships between the big fish and the government, then hammers the moms and pops or the small fish, then splashes headlines about it. No different.

I heard Tunsil's step-father watched him leave the house that night in Craig James' car...

Did you know that Craig James killed 5 Hookers?

My sources also tell me that Craig James got his car from a Gadsden Dodge dealership.

The fact that ole miss is meekly taking this instead of taking the auburn cam newton route indicates that there is much more to this than what we know from the news story.

I heard Craig James is Tunsil's real step-father, and the other guy is standing in.

The reason this all started was because Craig wanted to do blow off of the agent's yellow Corvette, but the agent said, "No-get your hooker-killing paws off of my 'Vette!" Craig, amazingly, couldn't find any hookers to kill in Oxford, and Memphis was too far for a quick trip, so he went after Tunsil's mom.

And now you know the rest of the story.

....which occurred over the summer....so we wouldn't have any games forfeited/vacated....because he's yet to play this year.
