Only in your dreams will Turnstile ever take another snap at OM.

This is about FAR more than a loaner car. OM about to get that arse busted by the NCAA.

Turnstile's stepdad squealed and that's all the NCAA needs. Save those bowl dvrs!

my response was not a case of ad populum. even so, when basically everyone can see it, minus the nouveau cam newtons, it does give the observation more force

it has already been said that's not the case. what is being commented on is the sudden, unexpected and almost unprecedented success ole miss is having recruiting and in particular, one high profile player who has a, prima facie, strange case hanging over the program. typically, this means something more is going on.

I think it is more about how Ole Miss appears to have jumped out of nearly no where to land a really amazing class having followed a terrible year.

It just sort of sticks out? I don't know either way. I'm just theorizing why they have drawn attention.

it's also that they did it with an unproven coach with 2 year of division 1 coaching experience, even as an assistant, and at a school without any titles in 50 years. if they had hired a big name like nick saban or urban meyer or ot was at a big program that had experienced some down years, then yeah it may not raise as many eyebrows.

2011 we went 2-10 and winless in the conference.

2012 was Freeze's first year and was a turning point for our program. We had 3 losses by one score to A&M, LSU, and Vandy. Finished with a big Egg Bowl win and finally got back in a bowl game and won it.

Combine that momentum with Denzel bringing in his brother, the #1 recruit that year, and you see it's not so shocking that we pulled in a #9 recruiting class one year.

I'm sure some shady shite went down like it most likely does every year. If Denzel wasn't on our team and Robert signed with us, then maybe I'd agree with you.

That typically happens with a coaching change. Freeze had <2 months to recruit in 2011

Ole Miss has had plenty of coaching changes and never recruited like Freeze is now. He's cheating. Everyone knows it. Everyone hears the rumors.

I don't blame y'all. Who cares? They are signing with y'all at the end of the day. No one else is entitled to those players, and as long as you don't get caught, I couldn't give two shits.

But y'all are gonna get caught.

Who is your source on this info? Because I highly doubt you have sources closer to OM and this investigation than any OM poster on this board or any other board I'm a member of who haven't said anything of the sort.

ETA: I'm pretty sure every team has been saying that for about 3 years now.. What has come of it? And don't say his stepdad squealed. It's called hard evidence and they have none.

Oh since Nick and Urban don't "recruit" exactly like everyone else in the country...

Almost certainly not. When's the last time the NCAA made a team actually forfeit a game? They've fallen in love with this idiotic 'vacated' shait where they take the win away from one team but don't give a win to the other.
A 1000 pardons....I meant vacated.

Bingo! If the NCAA can nail them on that, Ole Miss would have to forfeit all the games he played in after the contact. ....which occurred over the summer....so we wouldn't have any games forfeited/vacated....because he's yet to play this year. shite....at least pretend that you've paid attention this season.
Which is precisely why he's not seen the field! Read my post again and this time, think about it really hard.

The NCAA is not a court of law. They aren't bound by reasonable doubt.

A player's step father's testimony is adequate.

The Ole Miss fans that know anyone on the inside of their program absolutely know this could end up being really, really bad. Like Warner said...just the tip of the iceberg.

This Tunsil case shows you how Bama owns the NCAA and SEC offices. The stepdad blue with the whistle on Tunsil and the NCAA came running. DJ Fluker tweeted admitted to taking money and Yahoo sports found flight itinerary, receipts payments, A paper trail a mile long and the NCAA did nothing.

No, no it isn't. A begrudged step-father of a top 10 pick who just got cut out of the money is most certainly not adequate. There has to be proof of the allegations he's bringing forth. You should be aware of that considering if there was EVIDENCE of Johnny Football taking money for autographs he would've sat out longer than a single half of a football game.

Twitter is a flutter with all manner of rumors regarding Ole Miss and sanctions.

Even if none of it is true, it's pretty funny how nobody can fathom Ole Miss being good unless they are cheating
