Well looks like the truth is coming out now. A bunch of players and friends were with him and he was showing off his new Escalade. There was just a lot of confusion. When he got back to the police station the breathalyzer was not working properly. Given, there's a very legit chance that Dak was below the legal limit and the charges could be dropped ultimately because of that. If not, I'd expect a decent attorney to get him off. Just a lot of confusion. I'm expecting this to eventually be thrown out due to the confusion at the site and the failure to register at the station

The truth doesn't matter. Dak will forever be known as a drunk who put people's lives in danger

If this is the case and depending on what he blew/how he performed the field sobriety test, then he likely will get off. If he blew high in the field and couldn't perform the field sobriety test (remember they video them now) it will be much more difficult get him off. Also why does a college town PD only have 1 breathalyzer?

Have you actually BEEN in Missisippi ?? Its so poor that its depressing. Very poor. Catfishing is the way to make a living there now.

Except for federal $$ a lot of kids would be barefoot in school. Im surprised that the police would know how the hell to use a breathalyser (sp)...or could read the manual.

Then you are taken to the jail and given a chance to blow on the intoxilizer at the station.

If at the station you refuse to blow on the intoxilizer which presumably is calibrated properly, then you are given a DUI for refusal.

There's less evidence because there is no BAC on record but you don't even have the option to get lucky if by the time you got to the station your BAC was lower.

But you don't have to blow on the scene ever, you will be detained and taken to the intoxilizer though

If you gonna tell it get it right. Dak blew well over the legal limit... the cop who administered the test went to school at Ole Miss and stated that the machine was just fine. Dak, on the other hand, "was drunk out of his mind." When asked to state his name he simply said "DrunK" and not Dak.

You will be in violation of implied consent and be charged with DUI refusal.

You obviously don't understand what the Landmass is or just wanted to fail at trying to be funny.

Yeah buddy my kids are barefoot hicks that can't read or write, we live in a run down double wide and I dig ditches for less than minimum wage for a living.

That's true of breathalyzer/blood draws but not sobriety tests.

I suppose I assumed he meant if he refused both.
