Here we were having a nice, civil conversation with no rantard comments. And then you chimed in. I hope you're ashamed of yourself.

Landry was the slot receiver last year. He ONLY started one game. OBJ and Boone usually were the two starting WRs. Wright started a few at the beginning of the season.

Leslie could very well be starting by the time we travel to play UGA behind the bushes (old cholly mac reference).

That is the LSU game that concerns me the most.

All long as LSU keeps bama out of their two minute offense, the tigers stand a very good chance of stopping them again just like in '12.

Understood but will he remain there again this season or will he play on the outside some as well? He is clearly the best WR on the team.

We'll see.

We'll drop 31 on ya, unless Mills/Collins (both who are future AAs imo) play to their potential this year. I'd say the guy who gave us the biggest problem last year was Kevin Minter, and he's gone.

There are certain qualities a quarterback should have, sez us old farts. Kaepernick shot down one of the rules with his tattoos - I still haven't figured out how he overcame that handicap. (On the other hand, he lost the Super Bowl. Tattoos? You decide.) Tom Brady has shot down the haircut rule at times, but it's possible an allowance needs to be made for having a dominatrix supermodel wife. #3 is don't wear your ball cap backwards. Tony Romo is exhibit #1. Dumbass, jinxing his team like that.

Only applies to NFL, right?

I thought Manziel to Tharold Simon was a solid connection last season

For all scheduling complaints that come from lsu fans, we are lucky to play both ATM and bama late in the season. Our inexperience on d has a lot of time to mature, the talent is there.

To be fair, the we'll drop 31 on you is mostly a shove at 167. All the guy does is diss whatever people hype about Bama.

I'm glad Evans is getting the love he deserves, but you used the edited, family friendly gif. Here is the original

I disagree with his assessment on beckham. He may be better after the catch but Landry has the better hands. Beckham had some huge drops last year (see Florida game)

Well you post that the bama "O" will be unstoppable in '13.

I responded LSU was able to shut it down last year except when bama went to two minute before half and end of game.

What's the problem? LSU really shut them down except for those two occassions.

That's not opinion like you're statement. That's fact.

Now this is an opinion.

I think LSU's "D" will be better in '13 than they were last year. Especially by the time we get to backend of schedule in November.

Almost forgot.

jones, warmack and fluker gave the LSU "D" the most trouble and they are all gone.

Really expect Landry to remain as a slot receiver.

I think the lsu defense will be better. The 2 most prolific pass rushers in hs history are now juniors, most of the young secondary returns and adds 2 studs. The big question is mlb, but chavis always has an answer ever time we get concerned there
