You realize that he's "standing by the players" to salvage what little recruiting ability Mizzou has left at this point right? At least he can tell the black recruits that he and the football staff stood by and helped take a stand against the racism at the university. Otherwise it would be damn near impossible to recruit black athletes to Mizzou for a very long time. It's still going to be extremely difficult either way, he just managed to make it slightly less so.
