Yeah I'm sure when aggy went 9-3 and beat UT in Austin, then started the season ranked in the top 5 you were telling yourself that Sherman was a terrible coach.

So you think after two terrible seasons, Bielema fields an 8 win team and gets fired?
2 terrible seasons, 1 mediocre season - HE GONE.

Seriously, after 3 years, he could possibly be facing 15 total wins, and maybe a total of 6 wins in the SEC. I could be wrong, that could be good enough for Arkansas and it's fans - but that's fricking terrible after all of the expectations that surrounded his hire. Count up all the losses that could, and probably will, happen during that time.

I, and many other Aggies, recognized him for what he was after Arkansas State. I was never excited about him at any point in his tenure. 2011 just reinforced what we already knew about him.

Dude could recruit the shite out of the offensive linemen, though.

He sucks at recruiting, time management and keeping assistants. That's a recipe for 0-1 wins in the SEC every year.
All Arkansas fans will want him fired after he shows his true colours this year (except Latarion and Hawgfaninc, the 3 of them must be butt buddies).

If we had two terrible seasons and then won 8 games, we wouldn't fire the coach. Stop trying to troll and just discus football for once in your life.

Just curious. How many in this thread make a living off football at this level or higher?

There's no way Arkansas fires him after a 7-8 win year in season three. They've bought into the longterm rebuild hard. It would take 5-6 years of no more than 8 wins plus a couple more awful years to put his job in jeoperdy.

I have to give Bielema credit, he realized quick he was in over his head and sold the fanbase some bullshite that bought him a good 4-5 more years.

Low standards are low.

Enjoy terrible now, celebrate over mediocrity (at best) later.

I'm happy bert is able to recruit more positions well than just offensive lineman, otherwise that statement might worry me.

I don't buy that he's a bad recruiter. If he was able to trick this girl into banging his fat stanky arse, I'd imagine he could trick players into coming to arky.
