Ummm...have you checked the recruiting ranking the last 3 years?

Also, this board is comical with groupthink.
It's always some narrative that everyone follows to justify their opinions then next thing you know Auburn and Mizzou are playing in the SEC championship game.

In college football, things rarely turn out how people expect. That's why everyone agrees preseason rankings are a joke.

How the hell is LSU a toss up game? We've beaten the brakes of the 2 out the last 3 times and they have yet to beat us.

Bama has curb stomped LSU the last three times they played, but I don't think LSU is incapable of beating the gumps this year.

I think it would be a valid comparison, but the previous 5 times A&M played LSU we curb stomped you so thoroughly and repeatedly y'all backed out of a contract because you couldn't start building a program starting 0-1 every season.

ATm is recruiting lights out and I think sumlin is a good coach but I'm not to sure about their DC or position coaches. If they struggle this year and give strong a chance things can turn quickly.

Sumlin has been recruiting well but so far that's all he has to show after a couple years. He won a few games with Shermans players but he hasn't even sniffed an Sec title or natty. If this season goes poorly, which I think it will, (7-5), the momentum will begin to change. All the gadgets in the world won't stop the decline if Strong can put up a good year and Aggy struggles in conference. Strong will take a year or two to get rolling but he is running a tight ship and cleaning out all the trash left over from Brown. Once Charlie gets rolling he will take Texas to the top.

The responses in this thread certainly back up your statement. Lots of aggie butthurt (for more reason than one I'm sure) up in here.

Texas is superior to Texas A&M in every way.

You should stop drinking the water in Tyler TX.

So far Sumlin has surpassed everyone's expectations in his first two years.

It takes a lot of ignorance to just hand wave what Sumlin has done for Texas A&M in just two short years, but yet here we are...

When people talk about all the achievements A&M has accomplished and how they shocked everyone since joining the SEC, I tend to forget that they only finished 3rd and 4th in their own division. I've never seen a team finish .500 in SEC play and in the middle of the divisional standings and brag about it

Using your logic, why should our game be a tossup when Alabama has beaten LSU by 21 points in 2 of the last 3 meetings? Texas A&M's struggles versus LSU are schematic, psychological, and the result of stubbornness/obliviousness. You're right, LSU should be favored. Good coaches make adjustments, and Sumlin will prove whether or not he is a good coach with his game plan versus LSU this season.

Yeah, it's pretty much degenerated into A&M fans wailing and gnashing teeth. I'd be surprised if we weren't all banned by the end.

Also, LSU is on a protracted decline. It's just science.

Look, another Aggie fan dick riding Bama.

My new big brother (Bama) is much much better than my old big brother (Texas).

Texas A&M put their tail between their legs and ran away from Texas because they were 3-12 in their last 15 games. Cowards.

The last three games LSU has destroyed A&m. Historically LSU owns Texas A&M.

3-3 in the last 6, though. Same as our last 6 against LSU.
