I'm sure they are. America's team, amiright? Most people love seeing the same team win.

Good portion of my family went to Auburn. I always pull for them when they aren't playing OM.

I'm pulling against AU and for Bama to win it all again and Saban says he's done enough there.

Well done.

But in general, screw the nation and screw the SEC. Nobody helped us out in 2004, and nobody had our back in 2010. Nor was anyone there when we got cleared after a year long colonoscopy by the NCAA to say "yeah, that was messed up."

Only God can judge AU. And I'm not talking about Saban, you neanderthal funyun-eating hicks.

This place doesn't reflect the SEC as a whole. Hating Auburn is the cliquish thing to do here.

Do you really think the rant hates Auburn more than Alabama? That's laughable.

Doesn't matter to me now, but if we're supposed to put the conference right below our own school, I'd expect a little support from our friendlier rivals while the rest of the country is stiffing us or trying to tear the program apart with bullshite accusations. I get the Cam story was a legit story, but we got raked over the coals with a ton of just meritless garbage. Hence, although I'll certainly take shots at JFF and whatnot, I generally supported TAMU through that nonsense.

I'm being overly dramatic about my disdain for the conference for fun, in reality I just don't have any feeling toward it. I know some folks are very SEC-pride, and I am on rare occasions, but in general I'm only out for my school's success, everyone else be damned.

I and a whole bunch of people I know hope you beat crap out of the Gumps. Gumps acting like this wouldn't be devastating are whistling past the graveyard.

Yes it would be devastating but not nearly as it would if say we beat them on their field, then won the SEC championship and then had to play Auburn again in the BCS only to get trounced 21-0. Now THAT would be devastating.

Of course it would be devastating. We expect to win, and seeing auburn with a chance to win it all would be horrible.

But it would have been DEVASTATING to lose to UT-Chattanooga. It would have been devastating to lose to Mississippi State. Measuring self worth around how devastating it would be to lose to you is rather ironic...the more you suck, the more devastating it tends to be.

The Sioux had a saying that you measure a tribe on the strength of its enemies.
