USC couldn't even carry its own state?

The ags apparently dont understand that its their responsibility to carry the state of Texas....so far only its the only yankee voting state of the SEC footprint, albiet by a very slim margin
go vote ags
go vote ags

If you notice most of the states that voted for Bama are spread about as far you would expect Bama fans to move from Alabama. ND has more wins, the highest Win Percentage of all FBS schools, and more NCs but the rest of the CFB fans combined on ESPN are not enough to trump the number of Bama fans that vote on there.
have you ever read espn comments? they all seem about on the intellectual level of Alabama fans

Let's just note that AU isn't on the radar and realize the source of their fans' arse pain.

Congrats Alabama for being #1 in college football, and #50 on everything else.

I found that sort of surprising as well. However, Cali people tend to be very "here and now" type of people. If this vote had taken place during the Carroll era, they'd have at least come in 3rd, if not better.

To be fair, I thought Bama had more NC's than Notre Dame? And I'm unbiased in that assumption, since they claim one of ours (1964).

Nope on the NCs.
Also, ND's last title was 25 years ago. Alabama has 4 since then. As much as people can and should take into account a program's entire history, human nature is to give more weight to recent history / things you actually witnessed.

They should do a county by county breakdown
Barners can be champions of Lee County...
