They might make them forfeit rather than vacate. They should make them forfeit rather than vacate.

Isn't vacate much more common?

He did? I wasn't aware he ever served as head football coach at Florida. You don't get credit for being an assistant.

It is now, but it used to be forfeit. NCAA could have a big hard on in this case.

Maybe but I still think a vacate is much more likely

That is a quality melt right there. Honestly, I would melt too if we had Kirby as a coach.

100% melt. Georgia isn't all in on football to be able to hire away someone the caliber of Mullen.

By the way, those hedges are hideous.

You forgot play terrible SEC East Teams like Georgia.

14-5 against the SEC East.

Mullen has not been consistent against the West but he does tend to beat Ole Miss Arkansas Texas A&M or Auburn fairly often. He just doesn't beat LSU or Alabama.

And we get UGA Sept. 23, while they'll still be ranked but starting their annual collapse. The beat goes on.

We play in the toughest division in College football. Not many of our SEC opponents complain about having to play us and we usually give them a competitive game.

We serve an admirable function for the SEC west. In the SEC east we would be more competitive but we are content to stay where we are.

Dan placed a franchise QB with Dallas and has good opportunities ahead. Some day we may be what you would consider competitive, even to the point where GA would not want to schedule us.

The SEC West teams that typically beat us also typically beat GA.

Are you angry about something?

Let's focus on Georgia's struggle last year vs Nicholls State 26-24. Of course you conveniently leave out these games UGA has played in just the last 3 years. Nicholls State (Non 1A), Louisiana-Monroe, ULL, Southern (Non1A) Charleston Southern (Non 1A) Troy etc. so STFU

Providing analysis of MSU's standing in CFB = melting, apparently

Every MSU fan who has ever posted on this board rushing into this thread to cry about unassailable truths in the OP = not melting, apparently

What supports that thought?

No other SEC schools would play such a cream puff schedule as MSU. He could go to Florida and have infinitely better resources, but that advantage would be cancelled out by having to play Florida State every single year.

The argument for Mullen has always been, "Imagine what he could do at a better program." The problem is all better programs would give him a much tougher schedule.

The only two schools that have a good record against the SEC West are Alabama and LSU. When was the last time UGA won both their west games? Oh what a burn about us playing on the road against shitty teams. We don't have the most money in the league total shocker. We do more with a lot less than UGA. UGA is a one sport school that is not even very good at that sport.
