Yes, because they were wrong about us, just look at the first 2 games and the lines Vegas set. State has covered the first 2 games by over 50 points combined. Clearly, we are not a 5.5 win team.

FPI had us going (6.2-5.8) before week 1, now they have us going (8.2-3.8).

Just ignorant to even reference that.

Lol. Ok. One recruits in the top 5 one around 25 or 30th. That's a HUGE gap.

State fans have gotten uncontrollable on here. It's like watching a 5th grader try to explain nuclear fusion

I think most informed fans that keep up with recruiting rankings realized this on your defense. The problem you'll usually have is OL and WR for the most part as far as I can tell by reading your boards. If you list your two deep on offense, you won't find that many four star players, especially on the OL. I know most State fans blame your OL coach on that.

All shite asiade State has looked solid so far. I thought LA Tech would give them a game at least for a half, but they blew them away.

LSU can't seem to kick a field goal to save their lives. Not a good sign going on the road in The SEC.

Do you know that or are you just guessing?

We are currently redshirting 5 four star defensive players:

DE Chauncey Rivers- 4* - #1 DE(JC)
S Brian Cole- 4* - #1 S(JC)
DT Lee Autry- 4* - #1 DT(JC)
DE Aaron Odom- 4* - #16 WDE
CB Tyler Williams- 4* - #33 CB

Then we have atleast 2 more 4 star defensive guys that aren't listed on the 2 deep and are not redshirting:

Safety CJ Morgan Walker- 4* - #24 CB
OLB Tim Washington- 4* - #29 OLB

That's 22 4/5 star guys on the MSU defense.

This is true, O-line and WR recruiting have been the worst on paper. However, with Mullen it's never offense we have to worry about.

We are bringing in to big time 4 star 6'3"+ receivers next year.

Malik Heath- #1 player in the State of Mississippi
Stephen Guidry- #1 overall JUCO player in the nation

So you're actually proud of your school for taking guys that get kicked out or flunk out of other schools?Beyond pathetic

BTW,if you really want to see a top defense full of legit 4 and 5 star players come to Athens in a couple of Saturdays.

Y'all have some talent for sure. If HS talent is is your argument for why it will be close it doesn't compare to LSU though. We have Aranda as well

Top 100 247comp guys on LSU 2 Deep, Defense

NT:
- Gilmore (#89)
- Alexander (#69)

DE:
- Lawrence (# 23, questionable)
- Herron (# 88, suspended?)

OLB:
-Key (#83)
-Divinity (#66)
-Chaisson (#37)

MLB:
-Phillips (#61)

CB
-Jackson (#57)
-Toliver (#9)
-Vincent (#95)
-Fulton (#21, suspended?)

S
-Delpit (#66)
-Paris (#42)
-Monroe (#58)
-Harris (#86, third team)
-Stevens (#18, playing WR right now)

That's at least 14 top 100 recruits on LSUs 2 Deep depending on availability, with another 2 able to step in. 16 total on roster

8 of 14 front seven two deep guys are top 100 players compared to your 10 total 4 stars.

Other 4 stars on 2 Deep:

DL: LaCouture
DL: Logan
DL: Clark

ETA LB: White
LB: Thompson
LB: Thornton
LB: Taylor
LB: Anthony (third team)
LB: Queen (third team)

DB: Williams
DB: Xavier Lewis (third team)
DB: Cam Lewis (third team)

So add another 10 or so **** on the two deep depending on availability of a few others.

You think an Ole Miss fan would go through the trouble of posting all that info the OP did under a fake alter? Doubtful

Mullen has been good at growing a fairly talented & mature roster.

State is still a little lacking in overall team speed, but they won't be an easy out the next couple of seasons.

Eight bowl games in a row impressive for state no doubt.

How's this for consistency. LSU has won at least eight games a year since the 2000 season. That's 17 straight seasons. Best streak currently in SEC and best of the power five conferences.

Which reminds me. How the hell was Chauncey Rivers an academic qualifier at Georgia last year but he was academically ineligible at MSU this year?
