8-4 with Stidham at QB buys Malzahn another year. 8-4 with White at QB gets him fired.
I suspect 8-4 gets him fired, because history would tell us that 8-4 means he lost to uga and bama.

Since you have an in.......how did our second team D look? TIA

If you get to replace Les, then we can replace Gus for that game. I bet we wouldn't have selected a former failure of an HC who was on the current staff. So that being said, we win by 30 if Ed Orgeron was HC.

Just tried finding it. I posted it right before the Louisville game I think. I remember rereading it outside of DV on my phone and laughing at the score of the game.
That's interesting because Auburn played Louisville on September 5, 2015. Every thread that you started between then and Nov 17, 2014 are all contained on this one page: LINK
Nothing there about Jeremy Johnson or Auburn... there is a nice one about how awesome you think Kevin Steele is as a Defensive Coordinator The Steele Curtain is being built
But that's awful convenient that the thread with your insider info about how only you knew JJ would suck magically got whacked after the fact
Seriously though, c'mon bro. Most people outgrow compulsive lying before they finish their teens

I'm sure they looked better than half of the SEC's first teams

Oh so now Sean white is good.
Sean White has phenomenal accuracy with the ball, and should have really good receivers this year.
He's made of glass, though.

It was probably on the scoreboard. And no one thought Steele was actually going to be good. That thread kinda says it right there.

He is a very good college QB, IMO. The glass thing is what hurts.
The other downer is.......he is not accurate on the deep ball. Gus' O works better when there is a threat of the deep ball every now and then.

Cool, so long as Gus let's him play and not 4 other guys too. And he can stay healthy. The beating Sean White put on UPig last year was legendary.

To be fair to Gus. Literally every offense on earth works better when the deep ball is a threat.

He's not a bad option when you have a great running game and good offensive line, but he's just the bland choice. If he were to stay healthy Auburn would probably be fine with him.
It's just the upside with Stidham and like I've said since he had his development at a different campus I really think he'll be good. Just not sure Gus does anything with it.

Malzahn will start Stidham even if White is better, for the same reason that he started Jeremy Johnson even though he knew he was shite.
Jeremy Johnson was the worst kind of player for coaches to evaluate. He was, by all accounts, great in practice, great in scrimmages and great off the bench. However, the pressure of being "the guy" was too much for him.
White is a bit opposite. While good in practice, he shines most when the lights come on and his competitive nature shows. This is also to his detriment since he thinks he's invincible and won't tell people when he's hurt.

This. He also doesn't have the arm strength for deep balls that you want. But by all accounts he spent a lot of time in the weight room this season though and improved his strength and had been really impressing his teammates. He reminds me a good bit of Greg McElroy actually, but much less of a douche.
Honestly the only team on the schedule that I wouldn't feel just as confident against with White as I would with Stidham is Bama. White is efficient, but he's not a playmaker that's going to put the team on his back and win by himself. Bama is the only team I think we will need that type of QB against.

A lot of people put on a beating but White was towards the bottom of that list

Sean White is better than any QB down in red stick.
For Auburn's offense I would probably only take Patterson, Hurts, Allen, and Bentley over Sean White as QB1. No other school in conference has a backup as good as whomever Auburn's will be this year.
Stidham is just creme for Auburn.

He'll sure as hell try though. I love the kid.

So you're saying that not everything posters say when pumping their team on the Rant is meant to be taken 100% literal? Interesting concept. Weird how only LSU fans have ever thought of such a thing as that.
