not really. most people who disliked miles have continued to dislike miles throughout all of that and still do today. same for the people who like him, although some of the people that have defended him all along have finally started to change their tune

LSU people are entertaining as hell.

well it is funny how hypocritical the media has been. they blasted LSU fans for even considering wanting him fired last year and now they sympathize with them this year because of false hopes? really?!?

I know they hate us, but LSU fans are my favorite. They have always been the funniest fan base. They say things i think, but don't want to say. Just to be clear, I am speaking of the LSU fans who are funny on purpose. I am laughing with them not at them.

I'd like to add to it by mentioning the weird phenomenon of the LSU fanbase flip-flopping about Miles. They went from WE LOVE MILES before last season to WE HATE MILES after the losses to Arky and Ole Miss back to WE LOVE MILES after they beat a weak Aggie team and a weak Texas Tech in the bowl game. WE LOVE MILES EVEN MORE after the Aranda and Dameyune Craig hires -- THEN after the very first game of the new season it's back to WE HATE MILES and not only that, they want him canned yesterday.

AND the story continues because the LSU fans already have Tom Herman coaching the LSU Tiger in 2017.

I love les and want him to succeed but it's clear that isn't going to happen any more.

This is so true.

I've never seen a fan base conjure (nonexistent) facts out of thin air inside the bubble of tribalism quite like LSU fans, wherein they basically talk themselves into believing something is true simply because they're talking about it.

They were going to be National Title contenders going into this year simply because they were telling each other that on message boards.

Miles was going to morph into a progressive offensive-minded football savant simply because they'd talked themselves into it.

Now Miles is going to be replaced by Tom Herman via the exact same methods of self-legitimization.

Well put... I'd also add the aranda hire fed into the hype machine. He's very good, but three DCs in three years is tough for any program.

And Bama fans why most people would rather be fricked to death by a camel and then then beheaded by Isis then be in the same room with you Mfers for a whole day. Can't u just enjoy your success and STFU for a few weeks and just enjoy our suffering and misery like a normal rival fan base. Is that really asking too much Mfers.

Losing to Wisconsin in Green Bay is not "utterly embarrassing"

Quit being so dramatic.

A lot of teams would lose to them

Spot on assessment. I have no faith that it will be corrected. Most teams improve from game 1 to the next. From what I witnessed yesterday it would take a miracle to improve.

What?

The entire sports media had us as playoff contenders and one of the top teams in the country.

What are you talking about?

Same thing every year. Our fans jizz on themselves over recruiting, so-and-so QB looks improved in spring ball, Less is going to open up the offense, etc. Same idiots now want Cameron fired and the backup QB to start, as if those two things occurring would drastically change the vacuum that is Less Miles as head coach. A huge portion of our fanbase can't spell IQ, much less have one.

Asking for Cameron to go and the backup QB to start without asking for Miles to be fired is like going out and wanting solid gold door fixtures for your trailer after a tornado destroys it.

Lots of teams aren't ranked in the Top 5, so, that's dumb

Before you know it, LSU fans would have us believe that they all hated Les Miles forever and wanted him gone after 21-0 vs Bama.

I think we're seeing a little bit of revisionist storytelling on this issue.

Let's hold the phone and see what LSU's W/L record is just before the game vs Alabama. I have a hunch that if it contains only one loss, LSU fans will be all WE LOVE LES again. Nothing wrong with that. That would be a notable achievement and I think LSU can accomplish that.

I promise you I will never have any expectations for LSU as long as Les Miles is anywhere around the LSU program. He is literally a cancer to the football program and nobody at LSU can find a cure to get rid of him.

Scoring 7 points on offense is utterly embarrassing when ranked #5 and playing an unranked team

First off, most of us wanted Les gone last year. And we thought it would happen until it suddenly didn't. And yes there was an outpouring of Les support from retards in the media as well as retards who just thought it would be mean and ungrateful to fire him. Ultimately it came down to money, and the powers decided to keep him. So we're stuck with him. So what else can we do besides get excited? We had good recruiting and for the first time in a long time, some juniors stayed rather than leave early. And most players on normal teams improve with experience. Esp QBs.

The optimism was for nothing and we all realize it and none of us are shocked. Just frustrated.

The offense sucks, the season is already over for us, and this veteran team is wasted. I just hope LSU loses enough games to ensure a new coach.
