On the other hand, you could say that the NCAA accepting a shaky (at best) testimony as fact during the "immunity interviews" that changed every time the story was told, would be a bad look. That could bring all out warfare regarding immunity interviews with even the tiniest shred of evidence against an institution.

Honest question, because I'm not reading any more of this response until the actual COI meets.

Who is reporting the disparities in the #39 interviews?
Didn't Ole Miss complain that they were not allowed access to #39 in order to interview him? Why would the NCAA include testimony that is full of holes in an official NOA?

Maybe #39 did change his testimony, but how do we know this?

Immunity. Nothing is going to happen to Lewis.

There may be a player or two that sit for 1 or 2 games at most. Nothing will happen to State at all.

The NCAA got out of this exactly what it wanted. They gave Ole Miss the chance to come clean. Ole Miss lied to them and continued to cheat. That pissed off the NCAA. The NCAA went after blood. Ole Miss and Ole Misd ALONE is fricked.

Get over it. Move on.

To be honest I'm not 100% sure how the process works, but I would imagine that OM would be privileged to transcripts of the interviews. Seeing as how they were not allowed to cross examine the student athletes, they have be able to defend themselves against what they are being accused of. I really do not know, I am speculating (maybe hoping) the NCAA would at least give OM that decency. But, then again I could be completely wrong. Who knows? We'll find out if any of this means anything this fall when the hearing takes place.

Not sure if this tape exists or not, but if State or LSU is named by the mother in it and one of these schools beats Bama this year, this will become an issue.

So you think that a recording of a mother attempting to extort even more mo way from Ole Miss saying "LSU and State offered" is enough proof to investigate either school? All that proves is that she was trying to get more money from Ole Miss. there could have been those monetary offers from other schools, but she also could of been completely lying just to get more money from Ole Miss.

shite, even without the penalties being handed down yet, their recruiting fricking blows. Their last class was bad but this year's class in 2018 is going to be horrible. They are celebrating commits that theyre in competition with cusa, wac, and aac schools to land. It's a joke. I really don't think ole miss fans realize how bad and how quick this is going to affect their program and for how long. They are seriously fricked.

Or you could, you know, actually read the NOA and see that the NCAA is not just accepting that as fact without a shite load of evidence to support his testimony. You know, the fact that your coach set him up with a booster. Or the fact that Leo successfully pointed out the car and physical appearance of the alleged booster. Or the fact that there is a text message confirming the booster took care of Leo. Or the fact that your boosters met Leo on several occasions.

Or, you could just continue to stick your head in the sand.

That's what caught my attention. If OM truly was denied an opportunity to interview their accuser, they have to feel like they're dead men walking.

Thanks for the response

this isn't a court of law. Leo Lewis does not play for your team. He doesn't have to sit down with your coaches at all and why would he? He's probably scared you guys are going to record him again... which by the way if his mother was not present and you recorded some high school kids conversation... I'm pretty certain that is against the law if they are still a minor. I hope your dirtbag athletic program burns to the ground. you are a disgrace and an embarrassment to the SEC. you guys have been caught cheating in 3 sports. I'm fairly certain it is across the board. yall should be relegated to only having intramural sports

You do realize that had OM not continued to cheat after the NCAA had been on campus for 4 years Leo would have never been offered immunity or interviewed. I just am trying to wrap my head around how every single Ole Miss fan is blind to the fact that you basically spit in the NCAA's face and said you won't do sh** to us.

Then when it finally hits the fan you try and blame everything on a school and player that is supposedly not your "rival" while there are apparently 38 other students that were named, hence the student 39. That means they have stuff from or on 38 other student athletes that were involved in some way shape or form. How are you getting out of this again?

The recording is of his mom moron. And please do not talk about being an embarrassment, we might cheat at football, but between Jeffrey Simmons and students wanting to be terrorists, we still have a long way to go to match State.

Keep chugging cough syrup, wrapping nooses around statues, holding clan rallies, and signing WRs that like to molest high school teammates and you may catch up.**

You have got to be kidding. You just had Stringfellow, who knocked a woman unconscious before he got to Ole Miss. Your quarterback threatened to spray a bar up with an AK 47 (after being kicked off of 2 other teams). Your starting safety finger banged his teammate's butt hole in high school in a hazing incident. You had a KKK rally on your campus. You had students burning Obama signs when he was elected. You had to have the god damn National Guard called into your campus to allow a black man on campus. You had a rope put around that black man's statue not too long ago. You've caught us, big guy.

I'm gonna take your line of arguments. How do we not know that there aren't other recordings of players? lets get back to the players though since you brought up the Simmons kid... is it like signing the that thug basketball player kicked out of 3 schools for cocaine? or signing the kid that sodomized incoming freshman at his high school... or the kid that was guilty of domestic abuse... or the quarterback that was arrested for stealing a laptop, or signing kids that smoke synthetic weed and kill their brains... you guys are beyond reproach. no one compares to the shite you guys sign and "baptize' and have fake funerals for. You are a joke. just admit it and say hey we need to change some things... like your victimized attitude. get over yourselves. grow up and start acting like professionals... you have to earn respect not pay for it.
