Why?

What if the only other big purchases they make are a car and a house.

Let's say they spend $500,000 on a house, and $150,000 on a car.

They've still got a pretty big cushion of awesome to work with.

I don't think it's a big deal as long as the rest of their spending isn't out of control.

Greg Robinson raked in a lot more money than Johnny Manziel. Probably a proportional difference in the amount spent on that watch - or close to it.
