I used Miles as a compliment to gundy and somehow i'm trolling LSU fans by mentioning that Gundy achieved a hell of a lot more at OSU than Les Miles ever did?

Ken Hatfield had a significantly higher winning percentage at Arkansas than Lou Holtz and Frank Broyles.

That factoid alone tells me all I need to know about Ken Hatfield. No further evidence required. I don't care what he did before or after he left Arkansas. He must be a better coach than Broyles and Holtz. Statistics are NEVER wrong.

It would definitely put hatfield in the discussion.

bottom line is that Gundy is the best coach in OSU history. Previous coaches at OSU weren't as good as gundy has been. Les miles is the most recent example of a coach who failed to achieve what gundy has achieved at OSU. There are a bunch of other OSU football coaches to lump in there with Les, namely all of them because Gundy is the best coach in OSU history

Since 1933, without question.

Just as Lesticles is the best at his current school since 1909.

Life is full of odd factoids.

Like Ken Hatfield.

And I guess we'll never know just how good (or bad) Gundy would be at Tennessee or Arkansas.

Gundy is doing fine where he is. As is Miles.

It was a win/win for both schools.

Gundy must have been on that Cowpoke team that Jackie Sherrill scored 60 points on

I was disappointed that we didn't get Strong at first, but I'm glad we didn't hire Gundy. I'm full Butch now anyway. I think we might have dodged a bullet with Strong. Great defensive mind though.

Seems more like he's saying he has had disagreements with the AD and that he almost left for UT because of them butting heads....

If you are scared of playing MSU in a neutral site football game where your fans out number their fans 10 to 1 then you arent ready for bigtime college football.

He sounds scared to play 'em.

He may regret saying he almost left because he doesn't want to play those teams at a neutral site.

Gundy is young but he's a good coach. He's already proven he can be more successful at a school than les miles.
