If Missouri wins the SEC, the conference deserves to be left out of the playoff. Indiana found a way to beat Missouri, and I'm sure Bama will as well.

Same, but substitute Ohio State for Missouri, the Big 10 for the SEC, and Virginia Tech for Indiana.

If Mizzou wins I think they are in.

I don't think it would be enough, since Mizzou has 2 losses. But a Mizzou win would sure make plenty of posters on this site hate our move to the SEC even more, if it keeps an SEC team out of the playoffs.

Indiana is not Virginia Tech by a long shot. That alone negates the rest of your babbling.

Assuming the loss is close and controversial, which it probably would be, I think Alabama would still be in the playoff despite losing to mizzou. TCU-Baylor, Committee has already shown us they are capable of ignoring head to head, even with teams with comparable records.

I have never liked the idea of a committee selecting the 4 best teams. We should have stayed with the BCS and had the 4 highest ranked teams in a playoff.

This new system will be changed soon.

Well they should be in if they win! Might need some help from Oregon to actually get in.

If you are in the power 5 you should have play a championship game.. Then there would be no issue like this.

This is exactly why the system fails. That 12-1 conference team is only getting in because of their record, not their resume. Nobody would put money on Ohio State going 12-1 in the SEC West. So comparing records is apples to oranges.

The question isn't if they could go 12-1 in the SEC west.. the question is can they go 10-2?

Why do you want to play shitty 2 loss teams that you already beat once? This push to 8 is going to frick up what is great about D1 CF. If Bama looses then they don't deserve to be in. We can live with that. WTF is wrong with you dude? You sound like a B1G fan in disguise.

First time I agreed with an LSU fan in a long time.
