FSU scheduled OkSt, ND, and Florida OOC. That's as good of an OOC schedule as you will find anywhere in the nation.

honestly, all three are not very good....I mean I guess it's better than Western Kentucky or some team like that....but really, what did those three end up with as combined records about 20-15? or so

Oregon - legit.
TCU - lost to another B12 team with same record.
FSU - pathetic schedule
tOSU - pathetic schedule. Won a conference without a SINGLE significant ooc victory.

I don't really consider a win over 7-5 WVU much better (if at all) than Ohio Sts win over Virginia Tech..

3rd string Ohio St QB is going to lose to Wisky this weekend. Could have 2 Big 12 teams in - TCU and Baylor if Bama loses. Both seem legit but I could be wrong - they definitely have good coaches so anything is possible.

TCU or Baylor? Conference champ with victory over other contender, or conference champ with pathetic resume?

I think the best conference in college football has proven itself enough this year.

If Alabama loses to Mizzou, we have no case for deserving a spot in the playoff.

This thread isn't about whining for Bama...it's about the fact that you would have one legit playoff team out of four.

Leaving out the SEC would be atrocious. Putting in Missouri, or a Bama team that lost the SECC, would not be much better. The system doesn't work until we have all the conference champs and a more balanced schedule.

then why have a committee? I mean, you can't be serious that a 1 loss team in the Big 10 is better than a 2 loss team in the SEC...just because they only lost 1 game and the SEC team lost 2.

A 12-1 Big10 champion is worlds better than a 10-2 SEC team that didn't win its conference. If Ohio St goes down Bama is in even if they lose by 50.

Let's be real.. the SEC is not anything close to what we thought it was at the beginning of the season. LSU, Ole Miss, and Miss St were pretenders. The east is a huge dumpster fire probably on par with CUSA.

You never know what a teams record will be when you schedule them but I would give them a lot of credit for at least trying if I was on the committee. I hate FSU but it is ridiculous that they are not ranked #1.

Yep. How much more can you ask for.. winning is winning. Is LSU going to get punished the next time they contend because under Miles they tend to win ugly?

agreed, but it's not like they don't know that they need to schedule good teams OOC since the conference, well, blows, despite the fact they owned the East Saturday...lol

You can't seriously think that a 12-1 conference champion should be jumped by a 10-2 SEC team Ridiculous.

For the integrity of CFB, Bama must lose Saturday. This unjust system must end.

If Alabama is capable of losing to Mizzou, they're capable of losing to Indiana, thus capable of losing to the entire Big 10.

Alabama would go winless in the entire Big 10?

That's a Big 10 champ that lost to Virginia Tech, and won a conference with ZERO wins over legit nonconference opponents. If Ohio State wins their conference championship, it will be over a team that already lost to LSU, who didn't even contend for the SEC West.

I'm just saying that this 4 team "playoff" with a committee didn't solve anything. It probably made things worse.
