Yes it is, or are you gonna fall back on the old LSU belief that football started in 2001?

No Nick Saban, no Tigerdroppings. Circus and Chicken can't deny it.

Enjoy not being last.

Considering that we borderline eroticed the Vols in their stadium I don't think we have to worry about being last.

Depends on the time frame. If we are going with the first SEC championship game till now then the list if a joke. UF would have to be top 2 with BAMA.

INb4 Tennessee should be removed.

Wait too late. Little 8 is already here to brag about 1 game and compare it to 120 years of Tennessee football.

without looking I know we beat at least one top 10 team at some point during that time.

Now you go.

That just shows you how Damn close TN, LSU, UGA, Aub and UF are in reality.

Crazy that 5 schools from the same conference can have such similar resumes when you take in a 100 year picture.

TN in the next 5-10 years will go one of two ways. We can either rebound and win a couple SEC titles and maybe a National Title (what our all time history would predict would likely happen) or continue to struggle with 9 win seasons being the best we can manage.

If the first happens we will likely still barely hand on to the #2 spot at worst fall to #4.

But if the second happens we will be pushing falling out of the Big 6 all together.

True Big 6 members don't lose 24 straight games to Top 10 teams

Oh, really? Something you wouldn't understand is you have to look at the big picture, including where we've been in the past, and where we're going in the future - starting this year!

TD was registered in August 2001.

You think that 8-4 2000 season was the impetus behind creating the site?

In the past you were a perennial force.

The last 8 years you've been a laughingstock.

I'd say we've got a pretty good handle on it.

There weren't a lot, but was better than 0-24. LSU beat #5 Alabama in 1993 and #1 Florida in 1997.And there was a win over #5 Auburn in 1995.

BTW, Tennessee didn't beat Alabama or Florida in those years.

Wth happened with LSU in 98? Kinda off topic but sorta on topic with the recent posts.

I remember UGA/LSU was a top 10 matchup that year and we won by 1 in a nail biter. We went 9-3 that year so we werent' badass but weren't bad either. I thought that was a HUUUUUUGE win which it was at the time, but LSU ended up sucking that year record wise IIRC.

I-59 (I'll default to you since you seem to be one of hte most knowledgable LSU posters), what changed from that early game through the rest of the season?
