This recent addition of the "Big 6" thread is... underwhelming.

Yes, you tried to spruce it up by putting a dead in the water for a decade Tennessee in the second place.

However, if you put a bow tie on a turd, its still just a turd.

Lets stop beating around the bush here. Bama won the SEC and the Natty last year. So there is a Big 1, and the 13 who want to be there.

When someone knocks off Bama and wins a Natty then they get to be the Big 1. You win the SEC then you get to wear the crown, you even get a little scepter to wave around if you win a Natty that year. Otherwise you are just one of the 13 teams in the SEC wanting to be there.

There are no prizes for second place.

It will be a Big 6er that would take the crown from Bama, no doubt. It would either be Fla, Aub, LSU, Tenn, or UGA.

1. Alabama
2. Florida
3. LSU
4. Auburn
6a. Georgia
6b. Tennessee

Georgia and Tennessee have been riding coattails of tBig4 for decades and only their pre-1992 history allows them to maintain relevancy

Jealousy is not a good thing, second is better than third, better than last.
Enjoy not being last.

Indeed, and you can hardly get around in there now. But it does have great shopping and food.

What was LSU's record vs the Top 10 in the 90s?

Only if Big 6 is determined by the last 15 years, if the total history is accounted for, then we certainly belong.
