Hmmm maybe posters calling your arse out for trying to relate two quotes from months apart? That'd be a hell of a start.

Are you seriously this dense? This has nothing to do with the players "never being the same", whatever that even means. It has to do with the coaches and how they have called plays/conditioned the players.

For example, do you not think that Tyler Wilson was the best QB in the SEC last season? (By the way, if you say that you don't think he was then you are a fricking moron). Do you think that he "magically" lost all of his abilities this season? Do you think that he woke up one morning and decided he was going to start sucking it up, and not leading the SEC in nearly every statistical passing category? Once again, if you say yes then you are, indeed, a fricking moron.

You can gloat all you want, that's fine. I think it's pretty pathetic but to each their own. But to say that these players "would never be the same" is an idiotic statement. They need coaching is all.

I posted what he said before a snap was taken, then posted what reality is. How is that calling me out? Or were you being a stupid arse thinking both quotes were from the same article, after I separated the quotes and posted the article, the headline was listed under? It was well documented in July what he said. I guess I shouldn't have assumed the attention span of some on here could comprehend or remember something from a mere 3-1/2 months ago.

Tricked me...I was about to call Knile a dumbass.

There's no reason to even attempt to troll right now. It's not like we're real mad about it anymore. What can you do?

Everyone is falling apart and it starts at the top.

He was overrated from the get-go because of Mallet's arm and deep playing safeties in 2010. He still has some good moves and skills, but he is tentative from his injury. On that note some of you might want to check yourselves instead of taking joy in a man's injuries.

Then explain it to them. Don't take the time to explain to me. It's just funny that you were gonna sit back and ignore multiple posters calling you out on constantly pulling shite out to fit your agenda.

ETA: It's a recurring theme that you spin every time you're called out. This is just another classic instance.

You are full of shite if you say you weren't trying to passively connect the two.

-"The best RB" in the title, and using present tense

-Not providing a date of either statement

-Only providing a single link

Again, feel free to deny that was you intentions but we both know you are full of shite.

I was directly connecting the two.

He bragged about being the best and nearly said he was flawless. Now he's fumbling every 12 touches.

Click the link. You'll see the article's date. As far as when he made the claim to be the best. Surely, you haven't forgotten the numerous threads in the offseason making this claim and the multiple threads that had that statement.

I made no commentary in the OP. I simply posted what your RB said and felt he was, in his own words. And then I posted what he actually was from one of your own sites.

I never cease to be amazed at how hurt folks get on a personal level on this site.

Again. I posted 2 quotes from 2 articles, one quoting directly Davis, and another quoting the facts so far this season. Perhaps you'd be happier wallowing in the depths of dispair of the Au board and trying to convince yourself and other Aubies that yall really predicted a 6-6 or 7-5 season and how it's an overachievement and everyone else predicted a 4-8 season for yall.

And that is a retarded and illogical thing to do at this point. You simply cannot compare the 2 situations because one involves having a coach and one doesn't. It's like making fun of Alabama's defense slipping if Saban decided to quit preseason. This has to do with coaching, not the players.

Let me guess. You just "forgot" to provide a link to the other quote, right? You and I both know most people don't click on links. If it was such a recent and talked-about claim then it should have been easy for you to provide both links.

You see that? That is called a PAST tense, and is more applicable here. Obviously Knile isn't going to say in a quote right now that he is the best RB in the SEC because he has not shown it. Your OP said IS, which makes people think he currently thinks this, which is why I called you out on it.

Oh look another comment that is totally irrelevant to the topic on hand. Spin spin spin spin spin.
