Rather than defend the Third Saturday in October to kids who don't know about their football history, we should be laughing at the fact that our most storied rival sucks so badly that others think the SEC office conspires to keep us playing them.
Amazing

It doesn't count as a loss. It's as if the games never even happened. Alabama's official record for 2005 is 0-2.

What I meant is it still counts as a loss for UT.

It's funny to hear the butthurt fans of other teams tell us about our rivalry. Where were they when UT won 7 in a row?

Well most of that was before 2000, so the vast majority of LSU fans probably weren't watching cfb then.

The Bama/UT series has always been kinda streaky oddly enough. Bama had a 9 year unbeaten streak which UT immediately followed with 7 of their own, and now we are in the midst of another Bama run.

What should concernt UT fans is that of the 6 Bama wins 5 of them have been by a huge blowouts.

This is the SEC and eventually UT will play inspired and Alabama will play flat and UT will win. So the streak really could end at any time and it wouldn't surprise me. It also wouldn't surprise me if Saban never lost to UT and the streak kept going as long as he was coach.
