i mean really its not a big deal. who needs to be at a bar at 4am? if you really need to continue your night just go back to someone's condo.

all i know was the tailgating was shitty and too many people just went to bars where they were charging $6 a beer

Yeah, there are limited good tailgate spots. We don't really have an open area where folks can congregate well. I'm luck in that I tailgate in the RV lot right by the stadium most of the time.

I've always said, LSU bars 8-10 drink specials alone make it a pretty awesome place for a student. If you take advantage of drink specials you can get wasted for $10 every night of the week.

They have the same thing in CS. Drink prices are pretty cheap. Houston is bleeding me dry.

It was amazing in school having free drinks from 8-10 ($5 cover for wells or $10 for calls) almost every night at a different bar.

College station sucks. One if the ugliest college towns in America.

Definitely the ugliest in the SEC.

Tuscaloosa is getting better and better every year. Some of y'all need to remember that Tuscaloosa was handicapped for 80years because most Bama games took place in Bham. Not that all games are played in Tuscaloosa things have skyrocketed there.

Auburn not being on the list is interesting. I have always thought the place was very quaint. I do enjoy the plains.

Athens should be top 3. Boulder is awesome. I don't mind the pot smoking hippies. Hippies are attracted to friendly people with beautiful surroundings. So we have something in common.

You don't get out much, do you?

2 am is pretty much the standard in America.

It's 2 am in Alabama and Arkansas too. In Louisiana there's no state law but it varies by municipality. In Baton Rouge it's 2. In Georgia it varies by county. In Florida it's 2 but some cities have exceptions. In Tennessee it's 3. Some states are more restrictive. Mississippi has a 12 in most places, 1 in some cities and never in casinos. Missouri has a 1:30 last call except for St. Louis and KC.

The city of Tuscaloosa changed closing time to 3am while I was a student back in 2007.

I'm fine with a Georgia fan saying that, because CS doesn't hold a candle to Athens, but I've been to Tuscaloosa, recently, and it is REMARKABLY similar to College Station. Bsma fans casting dispersions on CS are doing so from within a totally glass house.

That's one of the worst lists I've ever seen.

Bump Athens up to #1 or #2 behind Austin. Bump Oxford up in the 20s, bump Tuscaloosa into the 30's... Lower Gainsville (are you kidding me?)... can't speak to CS or Columbia, MO so I'll leave that to judgement.

Its because bama has a nicer campus, hotter chicks and better bars.

to each their own but I dont see any resembalence between CS and Tuscaloosa. the area around the highway in Tuscaloosa is nothing to brag about about. But the area between Downtwon to the University area to Lake TUscaloosa area is pretty awesome. Highly underrated imo. But again to each their own.

I think Athens is far better than Gainesville.
