Wrong.

Tenn. qb is way overrated. He is a slow JJ.

Hurd is shifty but easy to tackle and did not see
a overdrive gear on him. He would have a tough time
being LSU's 3rd team back.

Defense did come alive in 2nd half but both OL and
DL got pushed around all night.

First game but Tenn did not look good and QB will hurt their chances going forward. Defense has a chance to improve greatly.

They MIGHT have beaten USC, Vandy, UK and Mizzou. That's it though, and even that's no guarantee.

App State vs Vandy or Mizzou might go to OT tied 0-0.

Pretty sure you were a 21 point favorite. I doubt that is b/c of how good Ap State is perceived to be. You were a 21 point favorite b/c of how good you were perceived to be - and you were at home. Don't try to sell anyone on Ap State being good. Sell us on you guys not taking them seriously and move on.

i was pulling hard for appy state and felt bad for them after the game because they deserved to win the game....i thought back to last year when jax state came into AU and kicked our asses....after game was over, i was not happy ,just relieved, to have won the game....jax state deserved to win the game and it was a warning sign that the "national title contender," led by coach bevis and his sidekick coach butthead, was a fraud....UT fans, your notice was served last night

They ran misdirection all fricking night

In the second half, with game in the balance, they ran straight up the middle time and time again for zero yards. They also had pretty much no passing game your team needed to worry about defending. A basic pitch option isn't some "fancy scheme" that needs great deals of time to break down and counter and that's even far more true when you should easily have the better athletes on your team.

Basically the App St. coach seemed to grow cold feet as the night went on and instead of pulling out all the stops and going for broke, he folded instead, hoping to protect a small lead. Then your team caught break after break on both penalty calls and lucky bounces and that turned out to be the difference maker.

That's what I saw, and guess what, I wasn't the only one who saw it.

Clearly it will be up to Georgia, Florida, (and Kentucky and Missouri) to prove that the East is not STILL down, yet again.

... Churain Tarini Bama High School? Sure, sure, considering they don't have a football team.

To be hated, people have to give a shite.

You over estimate Tennessee's importance.

Yeah I usually get those two mixed up as well.

OP is right though, App St probably finishes 4th in the east. Good team.
