So Rolling Stone wasn't content to just be sued by the University of Virginia for slander...

What is with this National Media Hate-fricking of irrelevant Aggy?

I don't get it.

What's the play, here?

Dude. You're smarter than that. A point-and-laugh theme only goes so far, and in limited distribution. This is Aggy hate from all angles. There's got to be more to this media campaign.

Meh, I'm no big fan of Rolling Stone magazine but the article had some good points and Morehead did screw the pooch there. Besides, if Martell thinks that the new OC for the Aggies is not the best choice for him then he's right to check out other schools.

If the Hogs let Dan Enos go and brought in a triple option OC to install his offense... yay I'd expect our small horde of pro style QBs to start looking for other schools to play at.

The Aggie hate exist because your own highly paid staff couldn't control their emotions on Twitter.

This is nobody's fault but their own.

I'm guessing you accidentally replied to me instead of an Aggie on that one. The only emotion our coaching staff can't control on twitter is a deep love for fried food.

However, if Bert's postings about what he is fixing for dinner caused this whole A&M mess we surely do apologize.

If that's all there is to it, then fine. But, highly public figures type stupid shite on twitter all the time. We lost a recruit because of it, and that's it.

We're the 4th best team in the West, AT BEST this year (probably a lot lower). Why is this getting so much play? Who gives a frick about irrelevant Aggy losing a recruit? It makes no sense.

You do realize you play in big boy SEC now and when your school staffers make sunbelt decisions it will go on Reuters.

Longhorn conspiracy. They see the writing on the wall. Sumlin gets canned, Aggy hires Tom Herman and becomes an unstoppable juggernaut. They're trying to mitigate it by hurting recruiting and hopefully steer Herman away from this fine institution by sullying its good name.

Fair enough.

I just don't recall this level of media attention for all the dumbshit things Fran did. Maybe it is the big league association that is causing it.

Anyone else looking forward to seeing Bishop Gorman getting sodomized by Cedar Hill in August?
