Not gonna work this time I'm afraid, Sarge. You only have to see MSU's 2 previous conference road games. Dogs gotta grow some testicular fortitude to play better on the road

Ok.. let's see what happens when he leaves and goes to UCLA and starts winning big. Be careful what u wish for. Sumlin is a much better coach than given credit for. What he's done this year is solid with a freshman qb and fairly young team. At least young in key spots.

If Sumlin loses to MSU, he's pretty screwed. AU is an auto-loss, because they can actually take advantage of our weak secondary. LSU is a loss no matter what, because Sumlin cannot beat them. Some sort of Cajun Voodoo.

That is a 7-5 record, and he is done. A&M fans are fickle - another UCLA, and his seat will be hotter than any in CFB

You're welcome but you can repay us back by finally getting some female cheerleaders already. Seriously Texas A&M get some cheerleaders that have vaginas. Dance team don't count.

Sumlin is one of seven active coaches with at least 80 wins and ZERO conference or national titles of any kind or level.

The only reason Sumlin would succeed at UCLA is because of how PATHETIC the PAC 12 South is. It's like the SEC East without Georgia.

Sarge, we play equally crappy on the road.
So the fixed object meets the immovable force.

Our OL was awful at UGA and Auburn. Our back end defense was terrible as well. If these two items are not significantly improved upon , we have no chance Saturday night.

As of now, I do not have confidence that that will happen. Based on that , Sumlin is safe (at least for now) much to the chagrin of some of the Aggie faithful.

We will see.

Sarge,
Mond may have a career game against us, and vault into the Heismann discussion for next year. Sorry, ya'll are stuck with Sumlin.

Kirk may have 3 catches of over 80yds this game and a return.

Y'all will beat Ole Miss & lose to Auburn and @ LSU.

The Miss St game could go either way, IMHO. It's a must win for Sumlin to keep him off the firing squad.

Miss St plays lights out at home, but is TERRIBLE on the road. That's the only advantage A&M has in this game

That's comparing apples and billy goats. The SECw is much, much stronger overall than Big 12 football.

Let's examine it using the proper context. (end of season rankings)

1996: Advantage SEC West

SEC West - #11 Alabama, #12 LSU, #24 Auburn
Big 12 South - #23 Texas

1997: Advantage SEC West

SEC West - #11 Auburn, #13 LSU, #22 Ole Miss
Big 12 South - #20 Texas A&M, #24 Oklahoma State

1998: Advantage Big 12 South

SEC West - #16 Arkansas
Big 12 South - #11 Texas A&M, #15 Texas

1999: Advantage SEC West

SEC West - #8 Alabama, #17 Arkansas, #22 Ole Miss
Big 12 South - #21 Texas, #23 Texas A&M

2000: Advantage Big 12 South

SEC West: #18 Auburn, #24 Mississippi State
Big 12 South: #1 Oklahoma (BCS Champion), #12 Texas

2001: Advantage Big 12 South

SEC West: #7 LSU
Big 12 South: #5 Texas, #6 Oklahoma

2002: Advantage Big 12 South

SEC West: #11 Alabama, #14 Auburn
Big 12 South: #5 Oklahoma, #6 Texas

2003: Advantage SEC West

SEC West: #2 LSU (BCS Champion), #13 Ole Miss
Big 12 South: #3 Oklahoma, #12 Texas

2004: Advantage Big 12 South

SEC West: #2 Auburn, #16 LSU
Big 12 South: #3 Oklahoma, #5 Texas, #18 Texas Tech

2005: Advantage Big 12 South

SEC West: #6 LSU, #8 Alabama, #14 Auburn
Big 12 South: #1 Texas (BCS Champion), #20 Texas Tech, #22 Oklahoma

2006: Advantage SEC West

SEC West: #3 LSU, #9 Auburn, #15 Arkansas
Big 12 South: #11 Oklahoma, #13 Texas

2007: Push

SEC West: #1 LSU (BCS Champion), #15 Auburn
Big 12 South: #8 Oklahoma, #11 Texas, #22 Texas Tech

2008: Slight advantage Big 12 South

SEC West: #6 Alabama, #14 Ole Miss
Big 12 South: #4 Texas, #5 Oklahoma, #12 Texas Tech

2009 and later is not even up for debate.

For the years that the Big 12 South could reasonably be compared to the SEC West (1996-2008), the SEC West was the superior division 5 seasons, the Big 12 South was the superior division 7 seasons, and they were equal one season.

The main CRITICAL difference is that the Big 12 South rep lost to an inferior Big 12 North rep during the 2001 and 2003 seasons and the Big 12 south rep lost the BCS title game during the 2003, 2004, 2008 and 2009 seasons.
